Our newly refurbished end-terrace home is located in the leafy Hertfordshire village of Old Welwyn and offers off-street parking for two cars. Just 5 minutes’ drive to Welwyn North and 8 minutes to Welwyn Garden City stations, with direct 20-minute trains to London King’s Cross. The village centre is a 5-minute walk, with 7 pubs, a variety of restaurants and takeaways, plus a Tesco Express, BP/M&S Food and scenic countryside walks on your doorstep – perfect for relaxing breaks. The space The property is a family-friendly, spacious home ideal for family stays, weekend breaks and longer bookings. Fully furnished and thoughtfully equipped, it offers everything needed for a comfortable self-catering stay. The hosts live just 5 minutes away and are available to help throughout your visit. Sleeping is flexible and ideal for families, with two double bedrooms (one with a king-size bed) plus a double sofa bed. For longer stays or larger families, extra beds can be added on request. The home features a large open-plan living and dining area with Smart TV, plus a bright sunroom—perfect for relaxing or family time. A fully equipped modern kitchen includes all essential appliances for home-cooked meals. Guests enjoy off-street driveway parking for two cars, fast Wi-Fi, and a dedicated home office with desk, chairs and printer—ideal for remote working or schoolwork. Perfect for family holidays, relocation stays, visiting relatives, or weekend city escapes, with flexible space to suit your needs, ideal for contractors working away from home. Additional rules Bookings: We only accept bookings from guests that have a positive review history. Extra Guests (over and above 2) : Extra guests are charged at £20 per person per night. Pets: Pet bowls provided. Pets and pet food to be kept downstairs, please. All pet mess should be cleared and disposed of in "poo bags" and disposed of in the black bin. The charges for pets are £10 per dog, per night. We will need to amend the charges, and send a special offer for the addition of the pets, so please communicate how many nights you wish to stay, and how many dogs you are bringing with. No Smoking: No smoking or vaping within the house - charges will apply if there is evidence of smoking. Waste: The general waste bin (black) and recycle bin (blue) are situated at the front of the house. Bins are collected on a Tuesday morning. Please dispose of all rubbish in the appropriate bin before checking out. Exterior: Please note rear decking is slippery when the temperature drops. Please be careful. Interior: Please avoid wearing shoes upstairs as this is a carpeted area. Cameras: There are 2 x external CCTV cameras. One at the front of the property covering the front door and driveway. One at the rear door covering the garden. Please note the cameras may record images.
