Superb, character, dog friendly, holiday cottage in the heart of St Mawes with parking and sea views from the master bedroom. The space Corner Cottage is a delightful, traditional, dog friendly, cottage with lovely sea views from the master bedroom and glimpses from the living room, and has the massive benefit of private parking spaces - a rarity in the heart of any Cornish village. The accommodation is remarkably spacious, with high ceilings and two bedrooms. The cottage is nestled just above the Roman Catholic Church (no bells!) and is a mere 150m from the harbour, up a short steep hill. There is a sun trap of a little patio, perfect for a spot of Al Fresco dining or a glass of your favourite tipple. St Mawes which is one of the most exclusive traditional villages in the Country, with a wealth of activities within close reach. Historic Castles from the era of Henry VIII, glistening blue waters, bustling beaches, Cornish Pubs, award-winning restaurants, amazing coastal walks, ferries to different locations, little motor boats, kayaks, and stand-up paddle boards, all available for rental. (During the season) The Roseland peninsula has a huge variety of places to explore, there are many beaches, some with golden sands, some with shingle, all with a splattering of rock pools, there are secluded coves, towering cliffs, and the famous lighthouse at St Anthony. (Fraggle Rock for everyone of a certain age!) The artists' haven of Portscatho is well worth a visit, as is Veryan. with its famous round houses. Accommodation Ground floor: Enter into small porch and on into the open plan living and dining area, with table and chairs, comfortable seating, Smart TV and an open fire. Kitchen with fully fitted units and appliances. Stairs lead to: First floor: Landing area with doors to: Master bedroom with 6' double bed, sea views, and storage. Twin bedroom with two 3' beds, storage and wash basin. Family bathroom with shower over WC and hand basin. Outside: Patio area with table and chairs surrounded by mature shrubs. Private parking area, suitable for 2 cars. Other things to note Useful Information Friday change overs during season Electricity, heating, bed linen, and towels are all included. You will need to bring your own beach towels. A security deposit of £250 will be pre-authorised on your credit / debit card. Up to 2, well behaved dogs are welcome at the small additional charge of £40 per dog per week. Dogs must not be left unattended in the property. No smoking inside the property. Facilities and Services Electric heating system with night storage heaters. Electric oven and hob, combined fridge & freezer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, and toaster. Combined washing machine & dryer. Unlimited WiFi. Hair dryer Cot & high chair available on request - please bring your own cot linen. Z bed for 5th person - children only. Parking and Accessibility The parking spaces are 5m from the property. There are 6 stone steps up to the garden with a hand rail. The bedrooms and bathroom (WC) are on the first floor.
