Our farmstay offers the perfect blend of convenience and tranquility, serving as a central hub for exploring nearby attractions such as Murudeshwara, Kollur, and Kundapura, all within a half-hour drive. Ideal for nature lovers, Kalavady Farms is surrounded by a lush 4.5-acre cashew plantation, complemented by 40 acres of privately owned farms, open spaces, and woodland. The stunning backdrop of the Western Ghats adds to the enchanting beauty, making it one of the most inviting homestays in Udupi. Whether you plan to visit Kollur, Kodachadri, Murudeshwara, Maravanthe, or Kundapura, you will find a warm welcome and a peaceful haven at Kalavady Farms. Guest access Guests will enjoy exclusive access to four cottages, with the entire farm—including the swimming pool, kitchen area, and common spaces—reserved solely for your group. The property is well-equipped with a refrigerator, washing machine, and a charming mini open kitchen that overlooks the farm. The kitchen includes a 2-burner gas stove, essential utensils, a pressure cooker, and frying pans. For drinking water, an RO filter with copper and zinc ionization ensures 99.999% purification. A barbecue setup is available (with an additional charge for coal and marination), along with kettles, outdoor seating, and a swimming pool surrounded by a lush 4-acre cashew plantation. Three of the cottages feature attached bathrooms, while the dormitory-style cottage is served by two fully functional outdoor bathrooms located near the pool. In-room amenities include three soap bars, three shampoo sachets, three towels, a tube of toothpaste, and hand sanitizer in each bathroom. Other things to note We’re deeply connected to nature, and our farm is a cherished part of our family. We warmly welcome guests who respect and value the natural environment. To help us preserve this space, we have a few important guidelines: Littering is strictly prohibited, and plastic use is not allowed on the farm. Smoking is only permitted in designated outdoor areas—never inside rooms or bathrooms. Please dispose of cigarette buds responsibly. Dustbins are placed at common points across the property; kindly use them. For everyone’s safety, especially for local wildlife and nearby residents, we do not encourage night travel. The farm gates close at 11:30 PM and reopen at 6:00 AM. The swimming pool uses well water, which is refreshed regularly and also utilized for farm needs. Note: Staying here is a true farm-life experience. While there are no dangerous animals, you may encounter frogs during the monsoon or harmless insects.
