Indoor laundry available with longer stays, twin bathroom sinks with 6' tub. Full kitchen with propane stove/oven. Most accoutrements provided. First bedroom 14'X14', Queen size bed, gently appointed, large closet and small work space tucked in corner. Our second (Annie Oakley) bedroom 12'X14'with genuine antique furniture, full size bed with spectacular easterly view through sliding door that opens to front porch makes you want to get up at sunrise. View from front porch uninterrupted for miles. "WOW" what hear most often. Property is a stand-alone AB&B. You won't be sharing amenities with other guests other than a passing coyote or chipmunk. Cowboy pool available seasonally. Usually when air temps' reach comfortable levels in May/June. 4 person spa available year round. Deck for yoga or star gazing, your choice. This is the desert complete with desert life, hoot owls call in the distance, coyotes yapping, invisible but always close so don't leave pets unattended. Guest access Whole house available to guests. Large doorways for easy access inside and out. Code to auto lock provided when close to check in time. Let the sunshine in with windows on every wall. 10' sliding door on our east side offers a spectacular view. Smaller Annie Oakley bedroom also has sliding door with an eastern view. Dirt roads leading to property are used daily by all types of vehicles. Keep a smooth/even speed, stay in lanes and off the shoulders is good advice anywhere in the desert. Two turns off Hwy. 62 and you're there. Other things to note More than anything, our home is a retreat. A quiet local close to everything yet very private. Spectacular views from sunrise to sunset. National and local parks minutes away with fun hikes right outside the door. It is the desert, best to respect it. Road to house is non-paved but used daily. Drive smooth and even, stay inside car tracks and you should be fine (good advice ANYWHERE in the desert). Use fire pit with caution. No wind policy only. NEVER leave fire unattended. Desert is highly flammable. No glass outside. Plastic or disposable cups available. Hot/cold outdoor shower on north side of house. To keep things clean as possible, landscape/ pool (seasonal) and spa maintenance every few days depending. Crews are quiet and quick and should not interrupt guest's privacy. Outside trash can will be checked and trash disposed of as needed. Stays longer than one week should schedule admittance to monitor/water indoor plants, clean and check washer/dryer which are available by request. Spa cover for insulation ONLY. Do not stand or sit. Always keep latched and locked when spa not in use. Please shower before using spa to insure a pleasant experience for everyone. No glass or alcohol in pool or spa. Cowboy pool is seasonal. Expect to open in April/May. Close late October. Inside home is a smoke/vape free environment. Please use courtesy when letting us know how many guests and if pets (may be extra fee) are staying. Stays five days or longer can use laundry when requested. Stays with very young children not recommended. This is rural, non-fenced home. Any individual unable to negotiate open desert on their own should choose a more appropriate property. Small fire pit outside. Bring your own firewood, available at local grocery stores and Home Depot Might also purchase a fire log for starting. ALWAYS check with San Bernardino Fire Dept. due to weather restrictions. jb
