Family House in Northern Burgundy

This is our family holiday home. It is comfortable, fully equipped with everything that you might need for your stay and able to sleep up to 8 people. The location: The house is located amoungst the fields of northern Puisaye/Burgundy. It is extremely peaceful but also at the centre of a region full of history and interest. There is plenty of outdoor space with outdoor dining equipment, a ping pong table, a trampoline and a pool for the summer... The space Lounge room / dining room: the lounge room contains three sofas in front of the fire place. There is a TV with fibre internet, so you can watch TV or use Netflix/Disney+ (own account required). The dining room table seats up to 10 people comfortably. There is also a piano for anyone who is musical. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped, with oven/cooktop, microwave, fridge and all the utensils that you might need. As it is our own holiday home there are also cooking basics (e.g. salt, pepper, oil) that you're welcome to use and replace if required. Laundry: The house contains a laundry room with a washing machine and a dryer. Bathrooms: The house contains two bathrooms, one downstairs and one upstairs. Both contain a shower, toilet and double basin. Bedrooms: The house offers 1 bedroom downstairs with a double bed. The entire upper floor is open, with two separated sleeping areas (one with a double bed and the other with two single beds). Two additional people can sleep on a sofa bed in the play area. All spaces have a small amount of storage for your clothes. Play room : On the upper floor, separating the two sleeping areas. It contains a range of children and adults books, as well as toys and games. Work area: In the same space as the two single beds there is a desk where you can set up your computer and work if required. Outdoors: The garden has various equipment that you can use, including table & chairs, ping-pong table, badminton nets, trampoline and a pool. The pool will only be made available during summer months and upon request. Guest access Guests are welcome to use all parts of the house. The garages will typically remain locked. Other things to note Please note that there is an unsecured pond on this property (see photos). Although it is not deep, for this reason the house is not suitable for families with small children. Please bear in mind that this is our holiday home and not a hotel. This being the case you will find our personal items (e.g clothes), food in the cupboards and other items that you might expect to find in someone's house.
