Sukōmala is a private villa located in the village of Imaduwa, Sri Lanka. It portraits simplicity and tranquility of Sri Lankan village life. The neighborhood is amazing with silent and calm atmosphere making guests experience the serene Sri Lankan village life. Set in the lush landscapes with beautiful flora and fauna in Sothern Coastal belt of Sri Lanka. Sukōmala is a perfect family getaway which has its convenient location to many tourist destinations around Sri Lanka. The space The villa is designed and owned by an Architect couple who has tastefully designed each space of the villa. The villa was a renovated old dwelling which was abandoned by and was in dilapidated state. The house was then added with modifications to give all modern-day comforts for its users. The villa consist of 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, front verandah, living room, tv lounge , kitchen with basic equipment, washing machine with laundry area, rear wet kitchen which is used by its staff. The Ground floor consist of 2 bedrooms with one large king size bed in the pool view room and one large queen size bed in the garden view room. The upper floor consists of the 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds in the terrace with garden view room and the other consist of a basic double bed with a view towards the rear garden. The tv lounge on the upper floor consist of smart television which allows you to access Netflix or YouTube videos via Wi-Fi. And in house we have Jenga, Badminton, Dart board, Checkers, Caram Board games and few kids’ games for a family. The property is spread in a large garden which ends in a paddy field. The landscape is carefully designed centering the villa, incorporating the existing trees and the well on the property. The property consists of many indigenous plants as well as many local fruit trees and variety of banana types. The morning in the garden has few wildlife visitors such as exotic birds, monkeys and peacocks. All four bedrooms have air conditioning and ceiling fans, and en-suite bathrooms. The out door garden pavilion is added to provide guests a lovely dinning experience in the lush tropical garden. Guest access The guests have access to the entire villa and consist of a pool area and villa block which consist of the living space, kitchen and 4 bedrooms. The staff and maintenance block are separated from the Main building which is accessed by the staff. The kitchen consists of a large refrigerator, and micro-oven, pop up toaster and tea and coffee making facilities which the guests are allowed to access in the kitchen. The guests have free parking facilities within the property up to 3 vehicles. An e-bike is available at the property for morning bike ride along the picturesque village. Other things to note Sri Lankan style/ Continental breakfast is included your stay. The Sri Lankan This also includes the choice of Sri Lankan tea or fresh fruit juices & a fruit platter. The property has a advance RO water filtration system which uses well water from the property then the water is hygienically stored in glass bottles. This will be daily refilled by our housekeeper. The property is fully staffed with house keeper, pool maintenance, gardener, chef and night watchman. We can provide lunch and dinner in house at a cost depending on the requirement, also we can provide for BBQ equipment and assistance from staff if planning to have a BBQ in the property.
