The Redwood Retreat

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful location. Nestled in the heart of beautiful Green Bank, this creekside cottage provides close access to the Green Bank Observatory, Cass Scenic Railroad and Snowshoe. Child and pet-friendly home features 2 bedrooms, living room with dining area, and full kitchen. WiFi, Smart TV, and family-friendly games. Plenty of parking and large yard. Note: There is NO cell service in the Green Bank area. We do have WiFi with WiFi calling. The space This is the front section of a house with 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen and bath; front porch and yard. There is no central Air Conditioning, but there is a new Mini-split AC/heating unit in the main living room and a window AC unit in the queen bedroom. There are ceiling fans in all rooms except the bathroom and the house is shaded so it stays pretty cool. Currently the heat sources are a mini-split in the main living room, backup propane unit in the living room and electric units in the bedrooms and kitchen. Guest access You will have access to the entire front half of the house! The back is closed off by a locked door. Please see the note regarding renovations to the back of the house. Other things to note We have a beautiful area by the creek with a fire pit, seating and a picnic table!
