It is walking distance from all Fairplay has to offer: bars, restaurants, museum, beach, Burro Days event and festivals. A short drive to hike 4 of the fourteeners near Alma or to explore nearby area for ATVing, snowmobiling, horse-back riding and hunting. Only 30 minutes from Breckenridge for world class skiing and a Jack Nicklaus designed golf course and about an hour drive from others well-known ski resorts. The Arkansas river is around 40 minutes away for kayaking, rafting, and fishing. It is perfect for people that are looking for a comfy place to spend the night after a long ski, hike or a busy working day. Common laundry area and backyard access with owner members and eventual other guests that occupy the second room available for rent. The room offers a comfy king bed, a walk-in closet, a mini refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker and TV. This private room can be locked for safety and privacy. There is a private full bathroom with a walk in shower. Hairdryer and towels available. Laundry use permitted during the scheduled time. This family and two lovely dogs occupy the house full time and share the laundry area with guests. The dogs do not have access to guest area. Please expect normal household sounds such as the laundry machine or the vacuum between the hours of 8 am until 10 pm. This is a perfect place for outdoor lovers: far enough from the busy and chaotic Front Range of Denver and Colorado Springs with all the conveniences that a little town can offer. This charming town is now connected to Breckenridge for a $4. round trip fare by the Summit Stage Bus Service, which connects to all of Summit County. This saves time and money for parking in this congested county. The Summit Stage stop is within walking distance from the house. The house is shared with other people so there is the possibility of some noise especially during the day time. Two dogs live in the house also. I suggest our house as a place where to spend the night after enjoying the outdoors activities for most of the day. The price is below the averages because we are aware of potential noise. If you can deal with some noise it is the right place for you, otherwise we suggest looking for a no shared home.
