The space La Croix des Forges is a beautifully renovated stone house that combines authentic charm with modern comfort. Recently completely renovated, with high ceilings, exposed beams and stylish decor. Ideal for two couples or a small family who want to enjoy peace and quiet in the heart of the Dordogne. 🏡 Inside The bright living room offers two spacious sofas, comfortable armchairs, a wood-burning stove in an impressive fireplace, and French doors to the garden. The dining room has a table for six people and a sideboard. The country kitchen is fully equipped and offers direct access to the terrace and garden. Upstairs: A bedroom with two single beds and a wardrobe A second, connected bedroom with a double bed (160×200), wardrobe and mobile air conditioning An attractive bathroom with a freestanding bath, sink and toilet Downstairs (separate entrance): A third bedroom with double bed (160×200), private bathroom with shower, and pleasantly cool in summer In the basement, there is a laundry room with washing machine, iron and sink. Baby bed and high chair are available on request. 🌿 Outside The large garden (7000 m²) has lawns, flower beds and fruit trees – guests are allowed to pick their own (figs, cherries, apples…). There are two terraces: one with lounge set, one with dining table and gas barbecue. The private swimming pool (12×6 m) overlooks the valley and is equipped with sun loungers, parasols and an electric child lock. Also available: table tennis, parking space for 3 cars, and a 22kW charging station for electric vehicles. Guest access As a guest, you have full and exclusive access to the entire house, garden and swimming pool. Upon arrival, you will be personally welcomed by our local host. They will hand over the keys, explain everything you need to know, and remain available for any questions or assistance during your stay. Other things to note All costs for energy, linen and final cleaning are included in the rental price. A 22kW charging station is available – fair use policy applies. Smoking indoors not allowed. Pets are possible in consultation. The swimming pool is open from May to October (depending on the weather). To avoid unnecessary energy consumption, we kindly ask you to keep windows and doors closed when using the mobile air conditioner. Thank you for your understanding.
