The Beach Escapes in Hythe is home to five luxury one-bedroom holiday apartments. Each apartment has direct beach access onto the promenade immediately in front of the property, along which you can take a leisurely walk along to Hythe and to the pretty coastal village of Sandgate and onto the bustling town of Folkestone. The apartments are also only a short walk to Hythe’s pretty canal, quaint high street and wide variety of cafés, pubs and restaurants catering for all tastes and budgets. The space All five apartments feature their own outdoor space; our penthouse, the Admiral’s Deck, boasts a seafront-facing balcony and panoramic views throughout; Gulls’ Rest and Captain’s Cabin both provide guests with fabulous sea views as well as their very own private seafront terrace area; Seascape guests can enjoy a private rear patio garden, whilst Stones Throw, our dog-friendly apartment, has its own entrance, private rear garden and small seafront terrace area. For larger groups, it is possible to interconnect the Stones Throw & Seascape apartments creating a space with two bedrooms and two lounge areas with sofa beds – capable of sleeping up to 6 when both apartments in use together. The apartments have been very tastefully and carefully planned for couples or families with up to two children, as they all have Superking or King-sized beds and ensuite bathrooms, generous lounges with double sofa beds with memory foam mattresses, and fully-fitted kitchens and dining areas. Special touches include Smart TVs provided in all bedrooms and lounges, and highly specified (and very well-equipped) kitchens, whilst each apartment also benefits from a private parking space complete with 12V electric charging point (charges apply). Self-check in for all apartments gives guests optimum flexibility for their arrival, when they will receive a welcome pack with essentials and other goodies. Bedding, bathroom towels, beach towels and hairdryers are provided as standard in all apartments and guests can also enjoy the hosts' thoughtful touches such as the food and beverage items available(on an honesty basis) in the fridge and pantry located in the check-in welcome area. The flexibility of the property and apartments is also ideal for larger family groups wishing to holiday together, whilst still enjoying their own space. Other things to note Dining Our open plan living and dining areas are generously equipped with everything you might need to prepare meals during your stay – with Neff ovens, hobs, Nespresso coffee machines and a dishwasher. Dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid, tea towels, dish cloths, bin bags, kitchen roll, foil, cling film and baking parchment are all provided for your convenience and a selection of herbs, oils and condiments – and other useful items – can be found in the pantry in the guest hub on the ground floor. Sleeping The Admiral’s Deck and Gulls’ Rest have Superking beds whilst Captain’s Cabin, Stones Throw and Seascape all have King-sized beds. All bedding is provided and beds are made up for your arrival. All bedrooms also have a smart TV and an Alexa Echo which can be used to play music or as an alarm clock. Bathing and Showering · The Admiral’s Deck has a separate corner bath and large enclosed shower · Gulls’ Rest has a shower over the bath · Captain’s Cabin has a shower over the bath · Stones Throw has a walk-in shower · Seascape has a large, enclosed shower We provide bath sheets, hand towels and bathmats for you during your stay, as well as swimming towels in lovely wicker bags. There is also a hair dryer for guests in each apartment (as well as plenty of plug sockets for hair straighteners). Other features of the property: The Pantry It’s so frustrating when you pop to the shops and forget those simple things… so to try to help our guests relax during their stay we have designed a small communal pantry with a few home comforts (including beer, wine and bags of ice) that guests may need during their stay – some items are provided as gifts and others on an honesty basis. Inside the Property By the door of the property that opens onto the terrace, we have an antique dresser filled with goodies to keep both grown-ups and children entertained. Inside the dresser you will find: • Books and magazines • Children’s story books • Board games and packs of cards • Puzzles • Recipe books • Colouring pages and colouring pencils Outside the Property EV chargers are available for guests (charges apply). There is a secure bike storage area for those wishing to bring their own bikes (please bring your own lock).
