Henchard has four very large bedrooms and is a pet friendly property. Bedroom 1 has a king-size bed, 32″ tv, and contemporary en-suite shower room plus a cot (on the left when you enter the front door) Bedroom 2 is a family bedroom with a king-sized bed and set of full size bunk beds and 32” tv (on the right when you enter the front door) Bedroom 3 has full size bunk beds, plus a set of twin zip link beds. The zip and link beds can be made up as a superking or left as twins. There is also a 32″ tv (central bedroom next to lounge) Bedroom 4 has a king-size bed, 40″ tv and en-suite modern bathroom with separate shower and room for a cot (next to kitchen) All the bedrooms have generous storage and dressing space. There is also a spacious modern family bathroom with shower over the bath. The stunning sitting room and dining area has an exposed beam ceiling with plenty of seating around the 64” flat screen smart TV. The large dining area has seating for 12. The atmospheric lighting will create the perfect environment for memorable dinners after relaxing days enjoying our facilities and the surrounding area. The lounge area has a wood burning stove to complement the underfloor heating. The kitchen is well equipped for catering to large families and groups. Appliances include two ovens, gas hob, dishwasher, two fridges, a freezer, washing machine and microwave. Beyond the kitchen there is a utility area with cloakroom w/c and hand basin. The property has tiled floors throughout. Bi-Fold doors from the sitting room open out onto the large patio area with a barbecue, seating for 12 and a large enclosed lawn overlooking the lake in the paddock below with its living willow, wildlife, planting and seating for all to enjoy, woods and rolling countryside. There are modern, comfortable loungers to relax on while someone else gets busy with the barbecue and the children will love the space available for outdoor fun and games. Guest access Tennis Courts: We have two tennis courts here at Greenwood Grange. Whether it's a couples tournament or a family showdown, our courts are here for you to test your skills. The courts are free to use and we have racquets and balls available. Lolly's Garden: Explore Lolly's beautiful garden full of herbs, flowers and vegetables! We will pop any produce from the garden at the Courtyard entrance for guests to enjoy. Games Room: little ones can use their imaginations in our Montessori style play cafe while older children and grown ups play pool or table football. We have lots of toys and games here, along with comfy sofas. We are a small complex of cottages so the facilities above are shared. Forest Walks: We are on the doorstep of Thorncombe Woods and Puddletown Forest! Over 300ha of beautiful woods and forest land to explore on foot, bike or horseback! Step out of Greenwood and straight into the woods - no driving required!
