Tranquility

Tranquility is a semidetached self-catered Studio Apartment. A private terrace, offers both Mountain and Sea Views only 800 meters walk from the beach. The Apartment boasts a Queen Sized bed, full bathroom, open plan living and all the creature comforts of home. Guests have the option of both indoor/outdoor dining, with a private braai (BBQ) area. Glencairn Heights is a quiet, upmarket neighbourhood. A private entrance and off street secure parking ensures a peaceful and uninterrupted stay. The space The Apartment is equipped with a Queen Sized bed, full bathroom and open plan living space. There is both indoor and outdoor dining, with a private terrace as well as a private braai (BBQ) area. Wifi services, as well as a limited power inverter (TV, internet, limited lighting) ensures you can stay busy when you are not admiring the views. Within 800m of Glencairn Beach and tidal pool and within 4.5km of Simonstown central which has a yacht club and marina, shops and many good restaurants. Close by are Long Beach, Sea Forth beach and of course Boulders Beach where our famous penguins live. Cape Point Nature Reserve which is world renowned is also a short drive away, this is one of the highlights of a visit to Cape Town with its numerous beaches, hiking trails and shipwrecks. Other activities include hiking in the surrounding mountains, kayaking from Simonstown to visit the penguins, boat tours, surfing, kite surfing and other beach activities, we are also within 10 minutes drive of two golf courses (Clovelly and Simonstown). Cape Point Vineyards offers summer picnics and wine tasting. Take a drive on Chapmans Peak to the fishing harbour at Hout Bay, or drive 10 minutes to Kalk Bay which is famous for its eclectic array of shops and picturesque fishing harbour. The PYT fully accredited South African Maritime Training Academy is in Simonstown and Tranquility welcomes and accommodates (super) yachties from all over the world during their training.
