Other things to note ⭑HOST INITIATED VERIFICATION⭑ We are an API-connected software host, which means that in accordance with Airbnb’s terms of service, we are permitted to implement “offline fees” to collect a security deposit outside of the Airbnb platform. All requirements are clearly communicated and handled securely through our trusted guest portal. ⭑SECURITY DEPOSIT⭑ A security deposit of $500 CAD will be collected prior to check-in. The refundable security deposit is simply a pre-authorization and will be automatically released after check-out (granted that there are no missing items, damages etc. to our home after your stay). A signed short-term rental agreement along with a valid ID is also required prior to your stay. ⭑LOST & FOUND⭑ Please be advised that we cannot assume responsibility for personal belongings left behind after your stay. We recommend thoroughly checking the property before departing. Items left behind will be stored for 14 days and then either donated or discarded. Coordinating pickup or delivery of forgotten items will incur a fee. ⭑MAIL & PARCELS⭑ This property does not include mailbox access. Please do not use the address for mail delivery. For postal needs, consider renting a P.O. box at a local post office. For parcels, arrange door drop-off or depot pick-up.
