The space The property is a self contained home within the grade 2 listed Hanam Manor, one of the oldest houses in Cheddar. The earliest part of the manor was built in 1263 and likely formed part of the medieval royal and monastic buildings associated with the neighbouring ruined Saxon Palace and chapel of St Columbanus. The building has also been both a private home for some notable local families and a farm until 1950. The current owners have developed part of the property to provide a stylish and modern self contained home within the historic framework of the building. This holiday accommodation has its own front door, parking and private courtyard garden. Inside, the property has an open plan living area; and four ensuite bedrooms. Guest access In addition to the home, guests will have access to a private courtyard garden and to the back garden with a BBQ and large eating area. Other things to note We provide a small Welcome Pack to help you settle into the property on arrival of semi skimmed milk, eggs, unsalted butter and a loaf of bread, alongside tea, coffee, sugar, washing up liquid, washing tablets, and hand soap for your use during your stay. There are interconnecting doors from the holiday accommodation to the rest of the property which are unused and locked.
