Step back and enjoy a breath of wildlife (lots of deer and turkey). We have one of the oldest homes in Blanco with lots of character (believed to be the first home in Blanco). Literally seconds from the Blanco State Park and mins from downtown Blanco and less than 30 mins from the Hill Country Wine Trail. The space The home is located on about 20 acres of land with lots of wildlife watch and enjoy. The home was originally apart of a 4000 acre ranch in 1861. The first photo we have of the home is from 1869. While the home has seen many changes the last renovations were done to the home in in 2002. The integrity of the historical home was preserved as much as possible- so while there are many modern amenities in the home you will still experience the old time feelings the house has to offer. With this uniqueness please note that the home and property has a variety of terrains. There are steps at all the entrances of the home as well as others on the outside of the home (the deck/leading to the dog house/yard). Fun fact: in you look in the purple bedroom closet you can see some of the original siding that was preserved. We do not currently have WIFI as we hope you are able to retreat and unwind. We do offer Dish Network. Guest access The property has a gate entrance. You have access to the home and the yard surrounding the home. Your welcome to use the covered parking in the pole barn. The main barn is not included in your rental but your welcome to enjoy the LARGE deck behind it during your stay.
