Tucked away on a fruit farm, this lovely cottage is found on the edge of the charming village of Egerton, a pretty village with its own shop, pub and restaurant – everything you need within walking distance. For a wider choice of places to eat plus a great selection of independent shops, the market town of Tenterden is just a short drive away. The space One of the area’s top local attractions is Leeds Castle, an impressive historic fortress, while there are several National Trust-run houses and gardens to explore too. This cottage’s location is also perfect for enjoying the great outdoors, with plenty of pleasant countryside walks to be enjoyed from the doorstep. Entering the cottage through the front door, you will immediately come to the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, a hugely enjoyable social space. Excellent views out to the surrounding farmland and countryside can be seen from the lounge’s huge French doors. The lounge itself has everything you need to enjoy a cosy night in, including a warming wood burner, plenty of comfortable furniture and a Smart TV/DVD with Netflix. A cupboard filled with games and books, perfect for a rainy day, as well as a dining table seating four can be found in the dining area. Moving into the kitchen area, you will find all of the equipment you will need to comfortably enjoy your stay here, including an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washing machine. The property’s two bedrooms are reached via a corridor from the kitchen area. The first is a King sized bedroom, benefitting from French doors which open out to the outdoors and enjoy fantastic views of the rural surroundings, while the second bedroom has twin beds. There is also a bathroom in this part of the cottage, which has a slipper bath, separate shower and WC. To the rear of the property, guests can find a large south-facing patio area complete with seating and a BBQ; this can be reached from both the lounge’s and the master bedroom’s French doors. By arrangement, guests can also explore the owner’s farm and enjoy some fruit picking (season dependent) or collecting eggs from the chickens. Bicycle storage can also be arranged with the owner.
