La Latina Casa de Amigos with pool and fireplace

Dear Guests, we warmly welcome you to "La Latina, Casa de Amigos." This charming manor house in Íllora, Granada, has been a special refuge for our family for generations, where we have seen our children grow up, and enjoyed countless moments of happiness. The name "La Latina" comes from our olive farm in Íllora, where friendship, hospitality and joy have always been our hallmarks and the pillars of our lives. The space La Latina has six cozy bedrooms and three full bathrooms, plus a toilet on the ground floor for convenience. It has three kitchens, two indoors and one outdoors, fully equipped, because cooking, celebrating and sharing was always present in our house. There is a main living room, presided over by a beautiful piano, and a semi-basement living room with a fireplace, musical instruments, and a movie theater!! And for the more energetic, we have a small gym where you can do some exercise. Outside, we find a beautiful porch with stone and wood columns, which opens elegantly to the spacious courtyard guarded by flowers and plants, and with the pool that is decorated with the balance of justice, … a nod to our professional life. Let's not forget the Lemon Corner, a discreet space for breakfast, snacks, reading or meditation, in the shade of our beautiful lemon tree that gives us extraordinary lemons throughout the year. Finally, the porch includes a charming bar, with everything you need to cook, drink something cool, and enjoy your stay in our house to the fullest. Guest access The estate has a rich history dating back to the days when our ancestors worked the land and shared unforgettable moments under the warm Andalusian sun. With great affection, and in their memory, we have called our family home La Latina, to continue sharing it and offering what it always was, a House of Friends, a place where friends and family can gather to enjoy a home of rest and leisure, along with the beauty of the countryside and the culture of our Andalusian land. Other things to note At La Latina, we offer you the opportunity to explore the natural beauty of the region and discover the cultural treasures of Granada and its surroundings. Here are some activities you can enjoy: • Hiking trails in the Sierra de Illora. • Excursions to the Sierra Nevada for skiing or hiking, depending on the season. • Visits to the historic city of Granada, with its majestic Alhambra. • Exploration of the picturesque Costa Tropical, with its beaches and charming villages. • Tasting delicious Andalusian cuisine at local restaurants. All guests will be required to provide their National Identity Document or Passport for registration with the National Police of Spain.
