The property is perfectly placed for exploring both coast and country, and for a traditional day at the seaside head to the golden sands of Rhyl, 18 miles away. The space The holiday home is full of character, with a plethora of original features, country-cottage decor, and rural views. Enter the property via the back door, into the light and bright kitchen, where you’ll find everything you need to create tasty dishes. Just off the kitchen is a handy shower room. The warm and inviting lounge has a striking beamed ceiling and a cosy wood burner set in the original stone fireplace. Spend time here, snuggled up with a good book or watching the Smart TV. A formal dining room completes the ground floor. Steep, cottage-style stairs wind their way to the first floor, where you’ll find a king-size bedroom and adjoining twin bedroom. Outside, an enclosed garden awaits, with a patio area and BBQ for al fresco dining and a lawn where children and four-legged guests can play. The utility room is located in the old bread shed, accessed from the garden. Mold is a lively market town with plenty to see and do. Its high street is lined with independent shops and eateries and, after a bite to eat, why not catch a show at Clwyd Theatre? When it comes to walking, you’ll be spoilt for choice. Journey into Moel Famau Country Park (5.5 miles), within the Clwydian Range, for exhilarating hikes with spectacular views, or head to Loggerheads Country Park (7 miles) for a relaxing stroll through the sweeping 67-acre parkland.
