The Pottery Shed

Conveniently located half way between Sydney and Brisbane, we are less than 2 minutes off the highway. Come and enjoy the peaceful space, the serenity, the bird life and mountain views on our semi rural setting of 1.5 acres in the beautiful Boambee valley. The surrounding beaches, cafes and boutiques of Sawtell and all that the Coffs Coast has to offer are conveniently on your doorstep. The space The Pottery Shed was once a working ceramics studio belonging to local artist Anette Copeland. It has been lovingly restored with recycled materials into a unique and stylish holiday accomodation for guests to unwind in. We have done our upmost to think of everything you may possibly need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The handcrafted kitchen is well equipped with everything you may need to prepare meals. The bathroom has heated towel rails and a lovely big shower area. The bedroom consists of comfortable queen sized bed with quality linens, a pull out single trundle bed is stored under the main bed if required. The day bed style sofa in the living space is also a single bed so we can accommodate four people if need be. Well suited for families with young children with an abundance of space to run around on the property. Please note although we can sleep four the internal space Is 60sqm with one bedroom, we ask you consider this before booking. Guest access The studio is fully self contained and has its own patio area that looks onto part of the property. You are welcome to walk down the hill through the new orchard area towards the windmill and pond. We have a few swings in the trees in this area for children to enjoy. Other things to note The Pottery Shed is situated on our 1.5 acre property where our young family also resides. The space is private and faces away from our home however at times we will be working on the property eg mowing / line trimming or maintaining the property so you may see us. Our dachshund cross may greet you with his bark, it’s in the breed and he likes to protect his property! If you like dogs just get down to his level (it’s pretty low!) and say hi to him and he will likely want to come home with you. If you do not like dogs / are scared of dogs or would rather have no interaction with him please let me know prior to arrival. Please note we have a large pond. Young children must be accompanied by an adult at all times on the property. The property is still a work in progress. We have planted fruit trees and hedging that will in time give the pottery shed an even more private feel however not everything is grown in or established yet. The internal roof in the shed is not original, it has been purpose built from recycled materials to look old. It, like everything in the shed very well engineered, there is full roof as well as wall insulation in the shed. Registration Details PID-STRA-60067
