Offering the perfect blend of rustic elegance and relaxed luxury, it’s ideal for cosy weekends with friends and family, wedding stays, photoshoots, and long, leisurely poolside lunches. This traditional, elevated Queenslander home features 2 beautifully appointed bedrooms upstairs and has been thoughtfully enclosed underneath, which is access via a seperate entrance, to add even more space. The upper level is fully ducted with air conditioning (please note: no fly screens), while the ground level offers 3 additional bedrooms, each with its own split A/C system, for year-round comfort, whether it’s a cool summer night or a snug winter morning with one offering an additional bunkbed with two single beds. Downstairs also includes a modern bathroom, hallway workspace, and laundry room. In total, the property boasts 5 serene queen bedrooms, all fitted with luxurious Sleeping Duck mattresses, soft linen, and high-end bathroom amenities for your comfort. Adjacent to the kitchen-dining area is ‘The Snug’ - a cosy retreat perfect for relaxing, reading, or letting the kids unwind in front of the TV. It features a charming koala pull-out sofa bed, which can be made up as an optional 6th bedroom *for an additional fee* ideal for extra guests, subject to approval, or those seeking their own space. Surround yourself with tranquillity in this picturesque setting, designed for rest, reconnection, and unforgettable moments and memories. Inside, you’ll find a casual and formal dining options, a lounge to relax with two stunning Victorian fireplaces (back-to-back/bookend style), with firewood and essentials supplied for a true home-away-from-home experience. Outside, weather permitting, enjoy outdoor dining with a potbelly fire or head down to out large fire pit area under the stars, perfect for late-night conversations and a toasted marshmallow or two. ⸻ Additional Details • Guests have full private access to the entire property • Sleep up to 12 guests over 5 queen beds and two single bunk beds • We can accommodate up to two further guests that will be able to use the optional pull out sofa bed for an additional fee. The 13th and 14th guests are welcome for an additional $90 per person, per night (note:maximum number on property after 8 pm without prior approval is 12) • For groups under 12 who still wish to use the Snug’s queen sofa bed during there stay or a single guest or a couple who want their own room, this can be arranged for $100 per stay • If you have an event planned we would be more than happy to chat to you about it and please there will be an additional venue charge. • A $1000 bond applies to all bookings made outside of Airbnb to cover damages or excessive cleaning Guest access Check-in is between 3pm and 5pm on arrival day. Please share your expected arrival time so we can personally welcome you, provide smart lock codes, and give you a thorough tour to help you get the most out of your stay. Guests have full access to the entire home and grounds, including outdoor entertaining areas and fire pit. Parking is available on the gravel driveway onsite for up to a maximum of 8 cars. Note: there is no street parking and no parking is allowed anywhere else on the property grounds. Other things to note Other Details to Note Peaceful Retreat: Our property offers rural country luxe accommodation designed for guests seeking a tranquil and sophisticated escape. Whether you’re unwinding with family, friends, or your fur babies, you’ll enjoy exceptional lifestyle facilities and serene surroundings. Pets: Pets are welcome upon request. We happily consider house-trained, non-shedding dogs up to 20kg. A fee of $50 per pet, per stay applies. Please enquire in advance to discuss your furry friend’s stay. Weddings & Events: We welcome enquiries for intimate weddings. The maximum overnight capacity is 14 guests, with a daytime maximum of 30 due to parking limits and respect for neighbours. Outdoor Table: There is a boho-themed outdoor table setting exposed to the elements. While water may drip onto the table only when it rains (the decking/veranda above is not fully waterproof), the table now features a food-grade protective finish. It retains its rustic, weathered charm—use at your own risk. Respectful Environment: The property is located further down the hill and, while it may feel secluded, sound travels uphill and can be heard by nearby residents. To maintain a peaceful atmosphere and be respectful to our neighbours, strict noise restrictions are in place from 11 pm to 7 am. A noise monitoring device is installed to help ensure these quiet hours are respected. This device monitors decibel levels only, not conversations or content. An alert will be sent, via Airbnb when the decibel level is exceeded. We kindly ask that guests avoid loud music, raucous late nights, or pool parties. A strict no-party policy is in place, and wedding events must remain intimate and in line with these expectations. Security Monitoring: For safety and security, the property is monitored by two outdoor-only security cameras: One faces the driveway One covers the front entrance area These cameras are used to monitor visitor activity and ensure guest safety. There are no cameras inside the home or in any private areas, in full compliance with Airbnb’s community standards. Any unauthorised activity will be passed onto authorities. Visitor Policy: Visitors are welcome during the day, but only registered guests may stay overnight. We ask guests to be transparent with visitor numbers and to follow the outlined guest agreement. Vintage Furnishings & Antiques: The home was built in 1890 and is filled with carefully curated vintage pieces and antiques that give it its unique charm. While we understand that accidents can happen, we kindly ask guests to handle all furnishings and décor with care. If anything is accidentally damaged or goes missing, please let us know. Replacement or repair costs may be charged where appropriate. Liability: Guests agree to adhere to all house rules. Any damages or breaches may result in additional charges or deductions from the security bond if booked outside of Airbnb. Departure Cleaning & Housekeeping We kindly ask guests to help maintain the home’s high standards by following the steps below before checkout: Dishes: Please wash and return all dishes to their cupboards or put on the dishwasher prior to leaving. BBQ: Clean the BBQ after use, leaving it as you found it. Rubbish: must be taken to the top of the property. Use only the bins marked ‘754’ located on the main road. Please do not use neighbouring bins. Red is for general waste; yellow is for recycling (bottles, cans, glass, and cardboard). Bedding: There is no need to strip beds. Please leave doonas, blankets, and scatter cushions neatly on the beds. Any heavily soiled linen should be placed on the laundry floor (not in the washing machine or bathtub). Pets: If your dog joined you, please check the room they stayed in for any accidents and clean these up prior to leaving. Also check the driveway and lawn areas for any faeces. Use your own bags or the plastic bags provided in the chimney pots by the laundry entrance and place waste in the red general bin. Before departing, please double-check the fridges, bedrooms, under beds, power points, and pet areas to ensure all belongings (including chargers and pet toys) are packed. Note:If you moved any items during your stay, to make it comfortable for your group, kindly return them to their original locations. Do not leave any furniture located inside the property outside as weather may damage or destroy and reimbursement will be sort. We appreciate you leaving the home tidy and respectful for our next guests. Please note: A departure cleaning fee is included in your booking, but it does not cover the full cost to clean and launder the entire property.
