Strategically located in the Coffee Axis, it’s ideal for visiting the region’s main attractions. Enjoy the swimming pool, barbecue kiosk, soccer field, beach volleyball court, billiards, pool table, and ping pong. You’ll also share the grounds with two friendly horses that roam freely around the farm. The perfect place to relax with family! ☕ The space A peaceful family-friendly farm in Cerritos, in the heart of Colombia’s beautiful Coffee Region. Surrounded by nature and the relaxing sound of palm trees, it’s the perfect place to slow down, breathe fresh air, and enjoy quality time with loved ones. The spacious outdoor area invites you to relax and play: a refreshing swimming pool, barbecue kiosk for family asados, soccer field, beach volleyball court, billiards, pool table, ping pong, and the traditional Colombian game Sapo. There is also a small cottage right next to the barbecue kiosk with its own bathroom. Two friendly horses and our dogs roam freely around the finca, adding a lovely countryside charm and helping take care of the property. Inside, the house is kept spotless and well-organized so you feel truly at home. It offers comfortable bedrooms and cozy living spaces, ideal for families or small groups who want comfort in a rural setting. Important notes: The bathroom in the kiosk does not have hot water (only the main house bathrooms and the small cottage do). Our caretaker is available daily from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm for any assistance. For security reasons, we recommend locking all bedroom doors when going to sleep. Our dogs run freely and help guard the finca. If you prefer not to have them roaming, just let the caretaker know and he will keep them in a private area during your stay. Since this is a rural finca in Colombia, power outages can occasionally happen. They are really rare, but when they do occur, they are completely out of our control. We appreciate your understanding. Please respect quiet hours: After 11:00 PM (or midnight) music should not exceed 53 dBA to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone. Practical information: Reliable Starlink internet works very well near the router. Because the farm is large, the signal may naturally weaken if you walk too far from the house. For hot water: we provide the first 40-pound gas cylinder, which usually lasts most stays (depending on the number of people, hot water and cooking use). For short-term rentals (less than 10 days), we provide replacement cylinders once they run out. Just notify our caretaker and he’ll handle the change, you only pay for any extra cylinders (around $16 USD each) if you are in long-term rentals, more than 10 days. Nearby conveniences: Just at the entrance of La Molienda you’ll find a mini market, a gas station, and a fried chicken restaurant, very convenient for quick shopping or meals. This is a genuine rural finca experience with Colombian warmth. A car is recommended to explore nearby coffee farms, Salento, and other attractions in the Eje Cafetero. The storage room under the main house. About the horses: You are welcome to pet and feed the two friendly horses, but only fruit (bananas, mangoes, apples, etc.). Please do not ride them — they are older now and enjoying their retirement. If you feed them once, don’t be surprised if they appear at the entrance of the main house the next morning looking for more treats! 🐴 Everything else is available for you to enjoy during your stay.
