Serene tiny house getaway on several acres with a scenic megadam. The property is home to alpacas, donkeys, and oodles of wildlife! Ideal for couples, solo adventurers, and families seeking tranquillity amidst nature's charms. The space Welcome to the Sanctuary at Tamborine! Our eco-friendly tiny house has access to a private billabong and magnificent oak tree, providing a tranquil retreat surrounded by nature's beauty. The queen-sized bed in the loft bedroom and the fold-out couch offer enough berths for two adults and two kids, or three adults. Prepare your own delicious meals in the full kitchen equipped with two gas hobs, a full-sized oven, well-proportioned fridge, dishwasher and microwave. Refresh yourself after a day of relaxation in the private bathroom with a separate shower, composting toilet and full-sized vanity. A nearby paddock is currently home to our alpacas - Lord Grimlock (LG) and Albus Dumbledore, and the donkeys (Beatrix, her son Chester, and his 'aunt' Dorothy) are only a short stroll away (meet'n'greets available by request). Discover diverse wildlife all around you during your stay! Chickens and a flock of domestic ducks roam the property freely, and the nearby dam is a haven for wild ducks, egrets, cormorants, turtles, and a small group of pelicans who stop in now and then! In addition to the green space right outside your front door, a short walk will take you to field-like yards that are perfect for ball games, picnics, and all manner of outdoor activities such as duck watching. You can even try your luck fishing in the dam (BYO gear). As the sun sets you can relax beside the firepit (BYO wood, please) or inside with a book (bring your favourite or borrow one of ours). Ideal for romantic getaways or family bonding, our sanctuary promises you a serene and memorable stay. We strive to offer a chance to disconnect from the modern world and reconnect with nature. To this end, there is no Wi-Fi or television provided in the tiny home. However, mobile data may work depending on the carrier. We just ask that you do not access the back 3rd of the property as this is our living space. The tiny home itself is a good guide for the boundary. Other things to note Our family live at the back of the property with our children and dogs (friendly and have a house fence). The tiny home is approximately 30 metres from the main homes but well screened by greenery. We are an LGBTQIA+ friendly setting. We wish to provide accommodation that is inclusive and safe for people of all gender, sexuality and body identities. Please note that there is no smoking or vaping on this property. *Sofa bed mattress dimensions (non standard size): 190 x 112 which is between a king single and double bed.
