In the heart of Florence, in the historic district of San Frediano, a stone's throw from the main monuments, this apartment is ideal for experiencing the culture and art of the world capital of the Renaissance. The apartment is located in via Pisana, in front of Porta San Frediano, that you can see from the window, on the first floor of a small building (20 steps) without lift. The space It has been recently renovated and is comfortable and very bright thanks to the large windows, the high ceilings and the exposed beams. The entrance to the apartment is in the living room, which is spacious and bright. The living room is tastefully decorated and furnished with a TV and a comfortable sofa bed, a dining area with a table and 4 chairs. If you need the sofa to be turned into bed, please ask for it. On the left hand side is the modern kitchen area equipped with everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner whenever you wish (microwave oven, kettle, oven, dishwasher, etc.). The comfortable double bedroom, equipped with a large wardrobe and chest of drawers, is accessed from the living room. The room looks out onto an internal courtyard and is therefore very quiet. The apartment is completed by a large bathroom with shower. Here you will also find the washing machine. WI-FI, air conditioning and heating included. THE AREA We are located in San Frediano, one of the most popular and lively districts of Florence. Although the area has changed over the years, it still retains its picturesque atmosphere. We are in the Oltrarno, part of the historic centre of Florence, which includes famous districts such as Santo Spirito, where there are monuments, gardens, museums and monumental palaces that are unique in the world. San Frediano is the part of Florence where "fiorentinità" still lives and breathes, with Palazzo Pitti (the sumptuous residence of the Medici family), the splendid Boboli Gardens, the Basilica of S. Maria del Carmine, the Basilica of Santo Spirito, the Bardini Gardens and the shops of artisans, goldsmiths and restorers. Full of stories to tell and emotions to experience, this historic district is also known as the artisans and artists district. It is the most authentic area of the city, where the old Florentine traditions are still alive with their traditional shops and handicrafts, and where you can still see the work of various artists and craftsmen. We are also very close to the vibrant Florentine "nightlife", with its many restaurants/taverns, pubs and cafes. Especially in summer, the squares and streets come alive with their open-air tables. Here you can enjoy the best Tuscan dishes for informal lunches or romantic dinners. Ideal for couples or even families, the neighbourhood is equipped with everything you could need while staying with us. Guest access The guests have access to the entire apartment, as described. The apartment is provided with automatic access and self check-in system, to make you able to unhurriedly arrive whenever you want to, after 3:00 pm, without having to worry about arranging an appointment for the check-in. All you need is a smarthphone to access and submit your personal data to the application for the check-in and to receive the codes to access. Otherwise, if you want, we will be pleased to meet you, but we have to arrange an appointment between 3.00 pm and 8.00 pm. Late check-in arrival time must be arranged at least 48 hours prior to arrival date with the host. For any late check-ins a Euro 30,00 late check-in fee will be applied.
