The space Stay in our luxury lodges situated in Broughton in Furness, Cumbria in the heart of a stunning countryside setting. Whether you're seeking a romantic retreat for two or an escape from everyday life, we pride ourselves on creating the ultimate secluded getaway with breathtaking scenery and spectacular views. Set on the outskirts of the Lake District with views of Coniston Old Man, Black Combe and the Duddon Estuary you can unwind in complete privacy. After a day exploring you can relax by the wood burner or sit back with a glass of something bubbly and count the stars from the warmth of your private hot tub. Step inside and discover a bright and airy open-plan living and dining area, complete with a 65 inch smart TV, a fully equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove and real wooden floors. The lodge has a super king sized bed with Hypnos mattress, a free standing slipper bath, underfloor heating and a shower cabin complete with monsoon shower, blue tooth connectivity and body jets. There is a double sofa bed in the lounge which will sleep a maximum of 2 people All our lodges are pet friendly, two well behaved pets are welcome for no extra charge. ​ Guest access You have your own private space and garden. The lodges are built on agricultural land and there will be livestock in the next field. Therefore we please ask that all dogs are kept under control and are not allowed to worry the livestock. We ask that they are kept on leads when walking through the neighbouring fields. We also ask that dogs are not left unattended in the lodge. PLEASE NOTE: The lodge is treelined and fenced but it is not “secure” for dogs. A dog could escape from the garden area. There is also livestock in the neighbouring fields so please ensure your dog is kept on a long lead and a stake when outside if it is liable to wander off. Other things to note Parking is below the lodge, and you will be required to walk up through the woodland to access the property. It’s only a minutes walk but it does have a steep incline. We have parking available for 1 vehicle. If you are a group of 4 please do NOT arrive in 2 separate vehicles we only have space for 1 vehicle per lodge. Please note we are in the countryside and you will need to drive to get to the major towns where the bigger shops and restaurants are. To protect the privacy of our neighbours and the other lodge users we do not allow the flying of drones on our land. We are based in the countryside surrounded by fields, I have 4 cats that live on the property and my neighbours have cats also. Cats do wander and unfortunately I can’t do anything to stop them from being around the lodge. If you or your dogs are reactive to cats please beware of this before booking. Fireworks - we have recently had a few queries from people wanting to bring their pets to get away from the fireworks. Although we are a mile away from Broughton Village they do tend to have fireworks on Bonfire night and New Years Eve, and they may be heard in the lodge - please bear this in mind when booking as we cannot guarantee you won’t be able to hear them.
