A retreat from the everyday. Welcome to our tiny home - a great place for you to relax and enjoy your special time away. Set amongst 8 acres of relaxing countryside, you can: - wind down after a great day on the Rail Trail - swim in the cool, private creek - lie back on the hammock or - enjoy an outdoor fire. For the holidays, due to many requests, we're offering you the choice to bring your own tent for family / friends (extra $20/ea/night). See "other details". The cabin is for 2 only. The space It gives you the perfect opportunity to unwind. Your tiny home feels spacious inside, with open living area, big windows and doors, ample storage, natural furnishings (it's all sustainable and ecofriendly) and a comfy queen size bed. It’s fully equipped with all the luxuries to make your stay a treat The verandah outside is expansive (it's 12m x 3m, about 40ft x 10ft) which gives you all the space you could ask for - so stretch out and enjoy your "me time" to the fullest. And it’s in the perfect spot. You’ll be relaxing in the sleepy village of Stokers Siding and only 2 mins to the Rail Trail. 10 mins or so to: - Uki Mountain Bike Park - Tweed Regional Art Gallery or the Regional Museum - Murwillumbah town centre 15 mins or so to: - Murwillumbah Farmers’ Market (every Wednesday morning) or - Murwillumbah Makers’ and Finders’ Markets (the 3rd Saturday of each month) - M | Arts Precinct - Burringbar 30 mins or so to: - Byron Bay (sky diving, ballooning, wildlife sanctuary, Cape Byron lighthouse, whale-watching, famous restaurants and permaculture farms and of course, swimming and some of the world’s best surfing!) - Cabarita Beach / Hastings Point (again swimming and world class surfing!) - Kingscliff (did we say swimming and surfing?!) An hour or so to: - Gold Coast - Springbrook National Park (waterfalls and natural bridge) Also – airports: - 25 mins to Gold Coast Airport - 50 mins to Byron Airport Guest access You'll have complete access to your part of the farm - you enter through your own separate gate, directly from the road. Other things to note We have deliberately not included wi-fi, as this fully off-grid haven is perfect for your digital detox! We want to encourage you to spend as much time out in the natural surroundings during the day. You’ll sleep so much better and wake up fully refreshed. (We’ll be nearby if you need to use our wi-fi at all). We also ask that it’s all quiet from 9:00pm – no parties, no loud music etc. Our property is suitable for children. We’re a few minutes away from Hosanna Farmstay, where you can take your kids for any of the day tours. And while we’d love you to bring your beloved little pets, please check with us first. We need to make sure they’ll be kind to the local flora and fauna – and our property is not fenced for animals. If you would like to bring your own tent in addition to booking the cabin, we recommend you reserve the dates for two guests only and discuss the details with us.
