The Master bedroom has a permanent Cali King bed that sleeps 2. Hence the 6 beds 7 guests maximum listing. We require at least 24 hours notice before we can confirm a booking please. When booking adults please specify how many couples. We need this information for bed configuration. Is located right on the waterfront of tidal Glenbrook Beach 🏝️ shrouded with ancient Pohutukawa tree's, and only 47mins from the Airport and an hour from the Auckland CBD. 14mins drive to popular Waiuku Golf ⛳️ course/Township. Or 23min drive to much larger vibrant Booming Pukekohe township , full of trendy bars , Nightclubs and restaurants -the Centre of the Counties/ Franklin region -yet still part of the Auckland Super City πŸ™οΈ A two minute walk along the beach or the reserve to the Beach Playground and Tyre swing. Brand new Weber Baby Q gas BBQ is always available- or the Weber Charcoal BBQ is available on request. Quiet, Homely, Relaxing and Peaceful are what guests mostly remark. The entire house has mirror tinted doors and windows, so you have complete privacy through out the day whilst enjoying the amazing views, without having to use curtains or blinds! Or when the tides out, take a coastal harbor trek to the sugar loaves rocks in the distance and see all the wonderful native and protected , endangered NZ wading birds 🐦 The Banded Godwits have migrated from Alaska and Siberia for our summer 🌺 You have a full designer kitchen in an open plan living space with polished Kauri wooden floors and a high ceiling with exposed spruce trusses. With an amazing harbor side water view throughout the entire Lodge. You also have fast WIFI/Cable/5k Fibre-Brand New 55’ Smart 4K Google TV- My Sky- New Sky Box Netflix,Spotify, U Tube, etc enjoy. Two of the three comfortable bedrooms have beachfront expansive water/ beach 🏝️ views. The master bedroom is huge and contains a very comfortable new California King size sleepyhead bed with ensuite. The other two bedrooms have either 1 new huge sleepyhead California King bed or 2 new King size single sleepy head beds in each room depending on the number of booked guests and the configuration required. All the beds have new organic 100% NZ wool sustainable Woolrest Duvets. Bedroom 3 may not be available if not required depending on the number of booked guests. The house is for a maximum of 7 guests. The two bathrooms are modern with luxurious Italian Carrera tiled floors and walls. The main bathroom is very spacious and has an open plan shower and a freestanding deep bath. The tiled laundry offers a washing machine and dryer. On-site parking x3 cars and your own separate access. The Beach playground is a 2min walk along the Beach Reserve that stretch’s from the Lodge to the end of the Beach and Playground. The complete absence of artificial light at night means on clear nights the star ⭐️ gazing on the front deck is spectacular! Peaceful is how recent guests have described it. Use my extensive Guide Book for eating out or sightseeing. Please be aware this listing does not currently offer Air conditioning. Portable oil heaters , Bar heater, Fan heater and pedestal fans are available for use. It is a near new build with double glazing throughout and huge triple ranch slider doors at either end of the open space living room for fresh sea breeze air and ventilation rather than old recycled air. Two of the 3 bedrooms have beach front ranch sliding doors that open out onto the vast decking. The Master bedroom has a huge triple ranch sliding door to the beachfront decking. Open these up and flood your room with fresh sea 🌊 breeze. Guest access We only accept a minimum of two guests per booking. Guests have the entire Kahawai Lodge to themselves. We require 24 hours to confirm a booking please. Please specify when booking adults how many couples. We need this for bed configuration. There are 3 bedrooms , an open plan living room, an open plan designer kitchen and dining space, 1.5 bathrooms and a laundry room. Two small storage rooms are locked. These are the Scullery -next to the kitchen at the rear of the lodge. The Linen room next to the laundry also at the rear. The converted un attached garage/sleep-out is the self contained Host accommodation at the rear of the Lodge and is private. It is in front of where guests may park their cars in a shared parking space. This is where the host may be staying whilst the Lodge is being used by guests. Please message me at anytime for questions. It is also where the resident cat Seaweed πŸˆβ€β¬› lives full time. Other things to note Children must not be unsupervised in the main bathroom. This is a Health and Safety issue. As the shower has a large freestanding thick tempered glass screen. This must not be pushed or leaned against. Please do not touch it at all and leave it for the cleaners. Small children must be supervised in the living area to stop βœ‹ any of the Smart TV, Sky and Modem device cabling from being interfered with. Must turn off the BBQ Gas from Gas bottle when you have finished cooking please. Only the master rooms designer wardrobe is available for the storage of your clothes and luggage 🧳 The other two bedrooms wardrobes interiors have not yet been completed and are currently used for storage or are empty. Please don't place hot items directly on to the laminate kitchen bench top as it is not stone. There are plates or metal trays provided for hot πŸ”₯ items. As a near new build- The properties parallel boundary fences have yet to be currently completed/ built. This is a no guests pets listing. We have one cat. A young Tabby called Seaweed. He keeps to himself. He has his cat door into the hosts separate accommodation/ sleep out-where the furry little fella can self feed and sleeps. When booking adults please advise of how many couples. We need this for bed configuration.
