Cozy retreat w/ Wood Burning Stove, close to lake

Beach and hiking in the summer, ice fishing, skiing and snowshoeing in the winter: our cottage is spacious and comfortable any time of the year! All the modern comforts are here along with a wood-burning stove as a bonus! You won't be roughing it, though nature is right out the front door: beaches and fishing are mins away, trails for hiking and a cute, quiet, rural setting. If you're looking for a family vacation or a getaway from the city, you'll find all the comforts of home at the lake! The space Our cottage is new construction with 3 bedrooms, one full and one half bathroom, kitchen, dining room, living room, and an attached, screened in porch. There’s parking for 4 vehicles in the back with street parking with no restrictions out front. We have high-speed (fibre) internet, big-screen 4K TV, wood-burning stove, and a fully-stocked kitchen. Lake access for ice fishing is 2 blocks away! Finally, there's a Level 3 EV charger located on Gimli Rd and Grove Ave (about a 5 minute walk). A Level 2 charger is available near the town office at 44 Whytewold Road. Guest access The whole property is available for use by guests with the exception of the shed and one closet inside. Other things to note There’s a convenience store (Matlock Village Junction, 5 min drive), a larger store with produce (Park Place Meats & Grocery Winnipeg Beach, 10 min drive), and a large grocery store (Sobey's Gimli, 20 min drive). 2 restaurants within walking distance (Julia's Place, Whytewold Emporium) and a hardware store (Home Hardware Winnipeg Beach, 10 min drive). Gimli is a 20 min drive and offers most amenities including restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, groceries, hospital, vet and more. There’s many beaches in the area including a large one (Matlock Beach, 5 minute walk), fishing, ice fishing, snow shoeing, skiing, and hiking. Our cottage is in a quiet community ideal for families.
