You’ll be on the shores of the Rock River at Lake Koshkonong, a 10,000-acre, full-recreation lake; boaters hop on and off boats at boat tie-ups for bars, restaurants, and supper clubs to enjoy food, drinks, and live music at these venues. The Rock River flows into and out of Lake Koshkonong; watercrafters cruise the riverway/lake from the dam upstream of the lake all the way to the dam downstream, sometimes fishing along the way. Take out the two provided Lifetime tandem kayaks or Pelican paddleboards and explore! Rent a pontoon boat or waverunner from Floating Toy just across the street for a day on the lake. You’ll also find several nearby golf courses within a 15-minute drive, including Towne Country Club just 3 miles away in Edgerton—home course of PGA golfer Steve Stricker. You’ll be just 30 minutes from the state capital in Madison, where you’ll find 4 beautiful urban lakes and the University of Wisconsin; the city also hosts many events, such as the annual Ironman Wisconsin (weekend after Labor Day).
