Rhea of Sunshine is tucked off the beaten path and located in the historic town of Avon. Just a short distance away from the beach access and within walking and biking distance to some of the local's favorite eateries, bars, shopping, activities, and attractions. Rent a golf cart and head to the famous Avon Pier and experience first-hand the excitement of catching fish off the end of the pier. Ground Level: The ground level provides plenty of space for water sports & beach gear, bicycles, a golf cart, and parking that accommodates 2 vehicles. Play a game of cornhole or grab a book and head to the hammock or the hammock swing conveniently tucked under the house for plenty of shade and relaxation. The washer and dryer are located in the outside shed. After a fun-filled day at the beach, rinse off in the outdoor shower. Single Level: As you walk up the stairs, you are greeted with a covered deck that boasts a coastal vibe and comfortable outdoor seating. The extended sun deck is outfitted with 2 Adirondack chairs, a picnic table with an umbrella, and a gas grill. The perfect spot for family and friends to socialize and enjoy a family BBQ, tranquil breeze, and the warm sun. Entering from the front door, you will find a well-equipped kitchen and an island that comfortably sits two. Don't worry, there is plenty of extra seating for the rest of the group to gather and enjoy a freshly cooked meal. The living area is furnished with two couches, coastal décor, a smart TV, plenty of natural light, and French doors that open to the covered outside deck. Make your way down the hallway to find two nice-sized bedrooms. Bedrooms #1 and #2 are furnished with a Queen Bed and smart TVs. Both bedrooms share the full bath located off the hallway. Extras: Outside shower with hot & cold water, cornhole, kayak, paddle board, beach chairs, gas grill, hammock, hammock swing, outdoor eating area, covered deck, outdoor furniture, dual air fryer, crockpot, parking for up to 2 vehicles, 3 smart TVs with Roku, and mini vacations welcome. This home will provide sheets for all beds and the beds will be made except for sleep sofas, top bunks, and trundle beds in which case the sheets are provided. This home also provides 1 bath towel and 1 wash cloth per person the house sleeps, 2 hand towels per full bathroom, 1 hand towel per half bathroom, and a bath mat for each shower or tub all year. Please help keep our home smoke-free for the enjoyment of all our guests. Remember to keep doors and windows closed when the heat or AC are in use. Please do not lower the thermostat below 72 degrees while using the AC. Any lower setting will cause the AC to freeze and stop functioning. We are on a septic system, PLEASE no grease in the drains, and do not overload the toilets with paper, use the trash for other items. Please keep the fridge temperature controls on the medium setting. The units have been opened more on departure day and it may take up to 12 hours for the fridge to reach optimal cooling after your arrival.
