Hackforth is a charming village just over 4 miles from Bedale. The village itself offers a public house which serves excellent pub food should you decide to dine out. You can enjoy an abundance of walks from your doorstep. Stroll through the deer park to the neighbouring village Hornby with it's 11th-century church. Pack a picnic and head to the dales offering walks for all levels from soft rolling hills to craggy moors for the more adventurous. The space The small market town of Bedale is steeped in history, some of which can be found in the local museum. The town also offers a weekly market, interesting churches, various craft and antique shops, cafes, and pubs, which provide local beers and home-cooked food. Feel welcomed as you step inside this stone cottage which provides a warm and cosy place to retreat to after spending a day out in the dales. Spend your evenings snuggled up on the comfy sofa and keep warm from the heat of the gorgeous wood burner while watching a movie on the Smart TV or sit at the table after meal for some traditional entertainment playing a board game. Rustle up a tasty treat in the country-style kitchen and discover all your home comforts, equipped with an electric Range oven and hob, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and microwave.
