Surrounded by the Mountain View, serenity of a village environment, peaceful chirping of birds and a beautiful Sunset view from each room, from our Garden and also from our nice cozy restaurant. Nearby places, Tara Maata Temple, river-side restaurants in Sadhupul. We are only 35 minutes away from Shimla City. The space NOTE** This particular room is the Premier room situated on the Second floor of the property with Garden and Mountain View. ABOUT THE PROPERTY: The Stone Age is a Boutique Hotel near a small town called Shoghi. It has 12 guest-rooms with attached toilets. All the rooms are facing the Mountain View and the garden area. Each room has a king size bed, a coffee table and two chairs and a wardrobe, equipped with TV, Wi-Fi, Electric kettle and instant tea and coffee and other basic things at your disposal. In case of Electricity failure we have an Invertor back-up which will only back-up Lights. We have a restaurant at the property where you are most welcome to spend quality time with family and friends while savouring quality food and drinks. Breakfast if included in your booking is served at the restaurant between 8AM to 10:30AM. THINGS TO DO: - The Stone Age in itself has a calm soothing vibe in case you are just visiting to relax and chill. You can relax and work from the room, or from the restaurant area while sipping your favourite drink. Or you can indulge in some board games, we keep, with your family and friends. In the evenings you can enjoy the sunset from the garden, and during winters enjoy the bonfire outdoors at a very reasonable price. - Tara Mata Temple is located 15-20 minutes drive away at the top of the mountain, where you can seek Maa's blessings and also enjoy a 360 degree view of Shimla, Kasauli and other Mountain ranges. From the temple itself you can take a small 15 minutes trek to Shiv Mandir in the jungle and Dudhadhaari Temple. This whole trip will take anywhere from quarter to half-day of yours depending on how you want to do it. We can always provide you with a local guide who can accompany and tell you about the place. - If you are a little adventurous and don't mind walking we can arrange a trek to the Waterfall with a local guide at a reasonable cost which will include one meal and drinks. This trek goes through the forest and river side and shall take up almost 5-6 hours, relaxing time included. - If you want to take a drive through the local unpaved road, you can always drive down to Sadhupul and enjoy food at local restaurants next to the local water-stream site. One way drive to Sadhupul shall take 35 minutes. - You want to go shopping, or enjoy a movie at a theatre, or to the fancy restaurants, you can take a trip to Shimla which is 35-45 minutes drive away. You can park your car near 'The Lift' parking, and take the elevator directly to the Mall Road. The very same day you can also visit Lord Hanuman's Jaakhu Temple, situated at the highest point in Shimla. Easily a whole day can be spent exploring Shimla, which shall include Advanced Study Site, The Mall Road and the Ridge and The Jaakhu Temple. - You can go all touristy and visit Chail, Kufri, Naldhera. You can always take your own car or hire a taxi for the whole day. We can always help you out with a local taxi. - Wanna Camp? Just let us know and we can arrange a day camp or a whole night-out camp in the best of the nearby locations, including meals at a very reasonable price. NOTE** In case you decide to hire our services for a local Trek or Camping, the price will include taking you to the starting point of trek and bringing you back in our exclusive open Gypsy. But we must tell you in advance that off road gyspy ride gets a little raw. FOOD & DINNING We have in-room dinning in place. You can just pick up the phone and connect to the front desk and call for what you would like to eat. We request you to give us 35-45 minutes of preparation time and getting the food to your room. The in-room dinning timings are written on the menu card. Restaurant operates from morning 8AM to the last order at 10PM. EXTRA CURRICULAR - We have board games for you to enjoy with your family and friends. - In case you want yoga lesson in the garden area at a reasonable price, do let us know in advance and we can call for the instructor. PROPERTY RULES - No Smoking inside the rooms. - Be respectful for the other guests staying at the property. - You can enjoy and have a nice time outside till late evenings, but please keep the noise to bare minimum after 10:30 PM. - A proper Government issued ID is required at the time of check-in.
