Other things to note Being situated in a national park comes with the unique sounds of Howler monkeys and birds, colorful foliage, exotic animals and sometimes bugs. Please don't be surprised if harmless critters visit during your stay, we are in their home. We fumigate with non-toxic products regularly and our team works hard to keep the house impeccably clean but sometimes nature is out of our control. While rare, sometimes intermittent power and internet outages do happen in Costa Rica and we are not immune. Local providers usually work on them right away. Water pressure can often be low, which is frustrating, but normal for Playa Grande as water consumption is regulated.
