Lyndoch is a warm , inviting property , perfectly situated just a 5-10 minute walk from the idyllic coastal town of Salcombe. With Estuary views , it sleeps up to 8 people in 4 bedrooms and has highly sought after private parking for 1 car . It is an ideal property for 1 or 2 families or those with dogs as there is a pretty enclosed garden at the rear. The space Lyndoch is a comfortable family home set on 3 floors . Leading through the front door into the hallway there is a large lounge area on the left, with views of Salcombe estuary leading into a rear conservatory which has seating and a dining table for 8 . This bright, open plan living area is perfect for socialising and relaxing. From here there are doors leading out onto a rear patio with table and chairs and steps leading up to the top of the garden where there is more seating . There is also a well equipped kitchen with range cooker and all you need for entertaining as well as a separate WC on the ground floor. The top floor has 3 good sized bedrooms all with incredibly comfortable beds and luxurious bedding as well as a family bathroom . The larger bedroom at the front has a kingsize bed and views out to the estuary, the double bedrooms at the rear look out over the pretty garden . There are stairs down to the lower ground bedroom which has recently been redecorated . Here there is a kingsize bed , newly refurbished ensuite shower room and a door out to a small front patio area . Guest access Private off road parking for 1 car, is located about 100m down the road . Salcombe is a town on a steep hill , so where ever you go there is always a hill to climb ! There are lots of steps at Lyndoch - some leading up to the property from the road, 2 flights within the house and also steps in the rear garden , so unfortunately it is not well suited to those with restricted mobility . There are various drops and steps with no hand rails in the back garden so extra care to be taken. Other things to note Salcombe is a picturesque sailing town based in a beautiful part of South Hams. There are numerous beautiful coves and beaches to explore as well as many wonderful walks along the south west coastal paths . The town itself is full of charm and home to some great places to drink and eat . The annual Regatta in August brings a real buzz to the Town and there is lots of fun for all the family . Lyndoch is well suited to access all that Salcombe has to offer however there is a small Spar shop 2 minutes walk behind the house which is open 7 days a week if needed.
