Reserve your spot for an out-of-this-world camping experience! Other things to note Liability Waiver for Space Cowboys Campsite Guests must review and sign our Liability Waiver upon arrival. This waiver must be completed before accessing your camping site. Please ensure that all members of your group are familiar with the house rules and agree for you to sign the agreement on their behalf. Additional Guests and Fees: We warmly welcome up to 2 pets per campsite for a flat fee of $30. To ensure a safe and enjoyable stay for all guests, we kindly ask that pets remain under supervision and within 30 feet of their owner at all times. Pets should be well-behaved and pose no danger to others. Please remember to pick up after your pets. For their safety, pets are not permitted to be left unattended at your campsite. Failure to comply with these guidelines may result in a $200 fine and/or expulsion from the premises without a refund. House Rules: To enhance your experience at our desert retreat, you must understand and agree to the following guidelines: Trail Accessibility: Some trails leading to the tent sites can extend a few hundred feet from the parking lot. Please be aware that our property may not be suitable for individuals with mobility issues or those unaccustomed to hiking. The terrain includes steep hills, uneven paths, and rocky areas, which may pose challenges for some guests. We want all our guests to have a safe and enjoyable experience, so please consider your physical abilities when booking your stay. If you have any concerns about accessibility, feel free to contact us, and we will do our best to assist you. Supervision and Safety: For the safety of all guests, we require adults to supervise all children under the age of 18 at all times. Children are not permitted to venture off-trail, lift or climb rocks, run, or enter restricted or construction areas. Additionally, both children and adults must use flashlights when walking around the property after dark. These guidelines are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. Thank you for your cooperation. Refund Policy: Guests have the flexibility to change their dates up to 1 month in advance at no additional charge. However, changes made within 1 month of the booking date will incur a $50 fee. Please note that by booking with us, you agree to our cancellation policy, which is outlined at the time of checkout. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to hosting you. Damage Policy: Any damage to the campsites or facilities caused by guests will incur a fee. This includes but is not limited to damage to furnishings, fixtures, appliances, and the property itself. Guests are responsible for any costs associated with repairs or replacements due to damage caused during their stay. We kindly ask all guests to treat our property with care and respect. Thank you for your understanding. Wildlife Awareness: The desert is home to various creatures, including spiders, wasps, snakes, scorpions, and other critters. While it may not be possible to keep all of these creatures at bay, properly closing the screen doors and tent flaps when you depart can significantly reduce their presence. Please be cautious of rattlesnakes; look before you step and avoid moving or removing large rocks. We encourage exploration but prioritize safety above all else. Dark Sky Environment: As part of the Dark Sky Community, our property and its surroundings have minimal lighting. Always carry a flashlight when walking around after dark, and exercise caution to avoid any potential hazards. If possible, arrive before dark as it can be challenging to bring all your luggage up when it's dark. Respect for Desert Flora: Our property boasts a diverse array of cacti and desert plants. While these plants are beautiful, they can also be formidable, with many featuring sharp points or thorns. Please tread carefully and avoid stepping on any plants. Ocotillo cacti, in particular, can be quite large and sprawling, so be mindful of your surroundings. Please do not collect rocks or plants. Terrain Caution: As you ascend the hill, be mindful of the terrain. Off-trail areas consist of crumbly and sharp volcanic rock, making it unsafe to venture off the designated paths. Always stay on the trail, especially when going uphill or downhill. We recommend wearing sturdy hiking shoes for your safety. Emergency Preparedness: The nearest hospital is located in Alpine, which is over an hour away. Please keep this in mind and take necessary precautions during your stay. Respectful Behavior: While we do not have set quiet hours, we expect all guests to be considerate and respectful toward one another. Failure to adhere to this simple rule may result in being asked to leave. Communication and Expectations: Your comfort and enjoyment are our top priorities. We aim to respond promptly to your needs and requests. However, please understand that we may be attending to other guests or temporarily out of cell service range. For non-emergencies, please message us through the app or text us. Leave No Trace: Please adhere to the national Leave No Trace rules. Trash facilities in the immediate area are limited, so please dispose of waste responsibly. Respect for Others: We expect all guests to treat each other and our staff with respect. Unruly behavior, including excessive noise, disturbance of other guests, or disrespectful conduct towards staff, will not be tolerated. Guests who do not adhere to these guidelines may be asked to leave the property and may not be eligible for a refund. We strive to maintain a peaceful and enjoyable environment for all our guests, and your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Liability Waiver: By signing your name, you hereby waive, release, and forever discharge Chup Enterprises LLC, d/b/a Space Cowboys, its affiliates, managers, members, agents, attorneys, employees, staff, volunteers, heirs, executors, administrators, representatives, predecessors, successors, and assigns from any claims resulting from physical or personal injury, pain, suffering, illness, disfigurement, temporary or permanent disability, loss or death, and any property damage that may occur caused by fire, theft, vandalism, water or land-related accidents, natural events, or any other occurrences or mishaps. We are here of our free will and entirely at our own risk. We understand that these injuries or outcomes may arise by our own or others’ negligence or conditions on the premises or the conditions of our use of amenities offered at the premises or related to travel to and from the premises. Nonetheless, we assume all related risks, both known and unknown. Chup Enterprises LLC, d/b/a Space Cowboys, is not responsible for errors, omissions, acts, or failures to act of any party or entity conducting a specific event or activity. I fully understand that this is a release of liability, and I agree to voluntarily give up or waive any right that I otherwise have to bring legal action against Chup Enterprises LLC, d/b/a Space Cowboys, for any personal injury or death, pet injury or death, or property damage whatsoever for negligence on the part of Chup Enterprises LLC, d/b/a Space Cowboys, its agents and employees. This waiver and release of liability shall remain in effect for the duration of my presence at the premises. We further agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chup Enterprises LLC, d/b/a Space Cowboys, against any and all claims, suits, or actions of any kind whatsoever for liability, damages, compensation, or otherwise brought by me or anyone on my behalf, including attorney’s fees and any related costs. By signing your name, you agree that you have read Chup Enterprises LLC’s Waiver of Liability carefully. I clearly understand the terms and voluntarily sign this release agreement. I have also discussed this with all persons in my party and their guests, and they have authorized me to sign this agreement on their behalf. By signing your name, you understand that if any members of my group break the House Rules, Chup Enterprises LLC reserves the right to terminate the reservation and issue no refund.
