This spacious canvas tent features a queen pillow-top bed, en-suite bath with hot outdoor shower, eco toilet, solar power, BBQ, fire pit, and private deck. Surrounded by wetlands and wildlife, it's perfect for couples or solo nature-lovers. Extras available: breakfast delivery, charcuterie, and more. Not ideal for guest with limited mobility due to forest path access. The space Yes, glamping really does mean camping in style! This cozy, off-the-beaten-path escape blends outdoor adventure with modern comfort. Fall asleep to the sound of crickets, wake to birdsong, and take in serene views right outside your door. Our luxury canvas tent is set on approximately 50 acres in a quiet rural setting, free from light and noise pollution, and overlooking protected wetlands. It sits on a raised platform with a private deck—perfect for your morning coffee or stargazing at night. There’s a propane BBQ for easy outdoor meals, along with a cooler, cookware, dishes, and basic spices. We also provide drinking water, firewood, plush towels, and more, so packing is a breeze. Travelling with kids or friends? We can add up to two extra beds (twin or cot) for an additional fee. Pet-friendly and peaceful, the surrounding forest is ideal for short walks, bird watching, or simply relaxing in the hammock. It’s the kind of place where you unplug, unwind, and reconnect—with nature, with each other, and maybe even with yourself. Guest access Our guest have access to: 🥾 - private walking trails through our forest or public trails in the surrounding countryside; 🦅 - on site wildlife and bird watching areas; 🧘🏼‍♀️ - outdoor games and relaxation spaces; 🌽 - fresh garden vegetable (in-season) for meals; 🛶 - nearby Big Rideau Lake for swimming, paddling, or fishing (we’re happy to provide local recommendations); and 🥐 - optional add-on services like breakfast delivery, picnic lunches, charcuterie boards, or multi-course dinners. Other things to note We aim to give you a peaceful, private experience in nature, with just the right amount of thoughtful hospitality. 🚘 Arrival & Check-In When you arrive, we’ll be here to greet you in person and guide you to where you'll be parking and your tent. The glamping tent is nestled in the forest, just a short 2 minute walk from the main house, overlooking our wetlands. 🧳 Luggage Assistance We’re happy to assist you with your bags and camping supplies. We have a wagon to help transport luggage along the forest path to the tent. If you'd prefer, we can take care of it for you -- just let us know. ⛺️Tent Orientation Once at the tent, we’ll give you a quick walkthrough so you know where to find things including the off-grid features so you can settle in and start enjoying your stay. 🍽️ Extras & Add-Ons If you'd like to add breakfast delivery, a charcuterie board, picnic lunch, or even a multi-course dinner, we’d be happy to arrange that for you-- just give us some advance notice. ⍰ Questions or Need Assistance If you have any questions or need assistance at any time during your stay our contact information is located in the information binder in the tent. 🧑‍🧑‍🧒‍🧒 Occupancy & Sleeping Arrangements The glamping tent is designed for two guests but can accommodate up to four people for an additional fee. We provide all the essentials to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible, including: - Potable drinking water; - Counter-height cooler (for food storage); - Propane barbecue (with tank) & bbq utensils; - Cooking gear: pots, pans, utensils & basic spices; - Dishes, drinking glasses, cutlery and placemats; - Fresh ground coffee & french press, tea & teapot; hot chocolate & marshmallows, creamer & sugar, and salt & pepper; - Wash tubs, dish soap, dish towels, sponges, cleaning supplies & paper towels; - Bath, hand & face towels, bathrobes, toiletries: (unscented) shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, lotion, kleenex, & toilet paper; - Premium bedding, pillows, blankets & mosquito net; - Firewood & fire pit tools; - Bug spray, lanterns & binoculars; - Solar lighting & USB charging station; and - board games, assortment of books and magazines. You’ll also have a private deck with patio table, chairs, & umbrella, deck chairs, hammock, and other on-site amenities. 🧳 What You Should Bring? To complete your glamping experience, please remember to bring: - Clothing suitable for the weather; - Your own food & beverages; - Ice for the cooler; and - Any personal items or toiletries you may need.
