You will be welcomed by the host Phil and two Dalmatians, Tegan and Harry to your large garden facing bedroom with Super-King bed. It's a charming, rustic C19th Coach House in a small village in Co. Louth with far reaching views and a secluded cottage garden with terrace. An ideal base for touring Irelands Ancient East easily accessed from Dublin. You can walk to the village with it's pubs, two restaurants, butchers, post office and shop and tour the countryside with many ancient sites close by. The space It's rustic with lots of nooks and crannies, hand painted furniture and a log burning stove. Comfy sofas with blankets, rugs on the wooden floors, painted stairs and original old windows to the front then two sets of double glazed french doors to the terrace. Your room is bright and has good sized bedrooms and a spacious bathroom with lovely views to the south from the front of the property. Like any old house it has creaks and a few resident spiders and if you're lucky you'll find the Faery door in the garden. Guest access You have a large bright room with a Super-king size bed, adjacent the shared family bathroom. you can use the kitchen and garden room for breakfast and there are seating areas in the courtyard and garden in fine weather. On the upper deck there is a hot tub for good weather. During your stay After greeting you on arrival, I am available to help most of the time. I work mostly from home. Other things to note Walking boots are always a good idea for visiting old monuments.
