Cozy getaway in the Ahr/Eifel region

The small, rural village of "Krälingen" is located below the Hasenberg, above the Ahr valley, on the so-called "Ahrhöhen" close to the vineyards and directly in the hiking paradise Sahrbachtal. The hiking route of the 8.6 km long Sahrbachweg passes directly beside the apartment. Pure nature, magnificent views, absolute tranquility. To the Nürburgring about 40 min. Tips in the travel guide! Opposite the apartment is the cultural café "Alte Krähe" with events on weekends, good food and breakfast buffet. The space The apartment "cozy time out" is one room larger than the "small time out" (second listing) and can accommodate 1-4 guests. For 4 guests, however, it will be tight - 2 people will then have to share the 140 cm bed. The accommodation consists of a combined sleeping-living-dining area with a small kitchenette, table with chairs and a bed (140 x 200 cm). There is also a room with 2 single beds. The modern bathroom was renovated in 2023 and has pleasant underfloor heating and a walk-in shower with a rain shower. Spacious entrance area with wardrobe and mirror. We renovate again and again in between, which will enlarge and change the apartment in the future. Therefore, the apartment may look slightly different from the photos provided (depending on the time of booking). We do our best to keep photos up to date (June 2025) Guest access The apartment has a terrace that is equipped with garden furniture in the warm months. Other things to note There is currently no large kitchen. However, simple dishes can be prepared in the small kitchenette – with a portable 2-plate hob, microwave and hot air fryer. A stove or oven is not available. A refrigerator, sink and a small work surface are also integrated. Further impressions of the furnishings can be seen in the photos of the property. Alternatively, you can eat directly opposite in the restaurant "Alte Krähe" – open from Friday to Sunday. There are no shutters on the windows, only roller blinds. Therefore, complete darkness is not possible. The apartment is located in a charming but not yet fully renovated building, built in 1980. There are some signs of wear, especially on the tiles and stairs outside, around the house. We are constantly working to beautify the outdoor area and the garden. It all takes time. Parking in front of the house may not be possible due to the slope/steep/narrow road in snow or ice in winter. Parking is then available at the church or alternative parking may need to be sought in the village. To efficiently control energy and water consumption, we are gradually installing smart home systems in the house. Environmental protection and sustainability are particularly important to us. Of course, NO cameras are installed. It's very quiet in the village. The nearest shopping is about 10 km away. Saturday morning, from approx. 7:30 a.m., a grocery cart drives through the village with really delicious fresh products (rolls, cakes, sausage...)
