Please note there are 2 very sweet rescue Bali cats living at this villa. The space Villa Kamalaya is inspired by Balinese architecture, immersing you in the rich local culture and tradition. Each bedroom is equipped with air-conditioning and fans to ensure comfort in the tropical climate. The ensuite bathrooms offer a refreshing connection with nature, allowing you to shower in private but under the open sky. The villa consists of 3 separate buildings, each providing privacy and tranquility, all within a secure gated complex and surrounded by a large, stunning, mature garden, creating a serene environment. Many guests comment that the fabulous salt-water pool is the most magical feature of Villa Kamalaya. Please note that while Villa Kamalaya has 3 bedrooms, they are spread across 3 different structures, not in a single house. This layout may not be ideal for families with small children. The buildings are connected by paths through the garden, which is fully fenced, private, and gated. The property also includes a charming pet cat. This pavilion-style villa complex is popular in Bali and is perfect for a group of adults or a family with older children. Guest access Villa Kamalaya is located within its own gated area, with its own large beautiful tropical garden, and lovely private salt water pool. The entire garden, the main house and the 2 smaller houses by the pool are all for the private use of the Villa Kamalaya guests. As part of the Devi's Place complex, Villa Kamalaya benefits from private road access, parking, and a reception and staff area with a small office. Villa Kamalaya's access is very convenient, located close to the reception area. You can drive a car or bike to the gate of Villa Kamalaya. For a peaceful early morning stroll, there’s a private walkway into the rice fields, offering stunning views of the mountains and surrounding rice fields. Other things to note Check-out time is 11am, with check-in from 2 pm, though we can sometimes offer flexibility. We have night-time security staff and one pet dog on the property. We can arrange car and motor scooter rentals for you during your stay, as well as book guided tours of Bali. Enjoy peaceful rice-field walks right at your doorstep with stunning mountain views, or explore the charming artists' village of Penestanan, known for its restaurants, spas, and yoga and meditation centers.
