Join us for the Pura Vida life! The space Each cottage has room for up to 2 adults who can share the double bed in the bedroom and one child, as the living room has a futon as well. The kitchen comes fully equipped with appliances such as refrigerator, stove, coffee maker, microwave as well as ample space to cook. Guest access One of 10 in the area, this cottage sits on a 400-acre property, surrounded by mango trees and within walking distance to the pool. Guests have access to ample outdoor space and can enjoy the pool and numerous hiking areas. They are welcome to tour our food forrest which can be arranged with the local caretakers, and younger ones can enjoy our splash fountain on weekends between 9am and 11am (weather permiting). Each cabin has safe and free parking space. Other things to note It is said that Atenas has the best climate in the world since it is a generally warm climate, suitable for walks, exercising inside the property and days in the pool. El Monte is 33 miles away from famous Jaco Beach. Poas volcano, with the second largest crater in the world, is 16 miles away, where a totally different climate awaits. According to AARP, Atenas has been mentioned as one of the best places to retire abroad.
