Description

Blame Mabel is a quintessential country farmhouse set on 30 acres of vines & open land — a place to do nothing, beautifully. The house has quiet nooks, shelves of books, wide views, & a kitchen for proper cooking & long meals. Days flow between indoors & out: reading by a window, wandering the grounds, soaking in the Swedish or outdoor bath as the light fades. Evenings end by the fire. It’s a place for deep sleep, shared laughter, & unhurried time together. The cellar door opens on weekends. The space Named after our mischievous dog, who inspired the pace and personality of this place. Blame Mabel’s Farmhouse is where couples or small groups slow down, breathe, and notice the little things. Comfort isn’t flashy, every cushion, blanket, and flicker of fire is chosen to make you feel perfectly spoilt. The real magic happens outside: a front-row seat in the outdoor bath, a glass in hand, and shooting stars overhead. Wildlife keeps you company, binoculars optional. The Farmhouse Vintage French linens, soft natural light, and a wood fire crackling away, comfort that feels like home, only better. Three bedrooms have wool blankets and block-out blinds for deep sleep. The lounge beckons with feather-filled cushions and a library of books, perfect for sinking in after a day of exploring or doing very little. A cozy daybed is ideal for an afternoon nap or stargazing. The kitchen is sunlit and simple, stocked for slow cooking and long meals, with an honesty bar to sneak a sip. The bathroom is a retreat, with a copper shower and Swedish iron bath, every soak feels like a treat.
