Waterwheel Cottage

Cute 1 Bedroom, 1 bath home located on the historic Oak Creek Ditch overlooking nearby farms. Close to wineries, Sedona, Cottonwood and Jerome. Bedroom features a king-size Tempur-pedic mattress; living room has a double-size sofa bed. Kitchen has everything you need to make family meals, if you are so inclined. Historic Cornville Stone Church located across the street. Peaceful and beautiful inside and out! The space Waterwheel Cottage was built in 1975 on the same land as the original parson's cottage for the stone church across the street. The stone church was built in 1927 and is a historic landmark in Cornville. The Oak Creek Ditch runs through the property. The ditch is about 5 feet+ wide in this area and creates a welcoming environment for all sorts of wildlife including birds, squirrels, raccoons, ducks, and livestock (on rare occasion we’ve had otters visiting). Great bird viewing! The Cottage is surrounded by working ranches with horses, cows, sheep, chickens and dogs. The sheep and guard dogs have access to the irrigation ditch for drinking water, but the cottage yard is fenced off from them. The Cottage is close to the road as shown in the photos. You may hear sheep baaing, coyotes calling, dogs barking at the coyotes, and cars driving by. Guest access Guests have full access of the yard and can use the BBQ for grilling. The kitchen is stocked with pots & pans, dishes, coffee maker, tea kettle, microwave, blender, etc. to prepare meals. If you do make any meals, please clean up after yourself to help us keep the cleaning fees low. Do not leave any food out that will attract pests. We do not use any pesticides on our property and would like to keep it that way. There is no access to the Ditch. No illegal activities are allowed. Other things to note LIABILITY DISCLAIMER - Host assumes no responsibility or liability for any loss or damage suffered by any person staying or visiting Waterwheel Cottage. Children must be supervised at all times. Guest understands that there are risks associated with the use of the property (such as, but not limited to) water from Irrigation Ditch, falling hazard, and BBQ area.
