Cabin in the mountains with beautiful nature and views

Traditional Norwegian cabin with electricity, heating, water, and WiFi in a beautiful mountain and lakeview location. Many different activities possible, such as snowshoeing, tobogganing and ice-fishing. Unlimited use of all equipment included. Spot Northern Lights from the heated balcony or over a bonfire (wood provided) The space This is a remote cabin immersed in natural beauty. Within a few hundred meters, you are in a different landscape: forest, mountains, or lake. It has electricity and electric heating, so it's always warm inside; there is an additional log burner and an incinerator toilet. There is running water from a well in the taps and the shower. We don’t drink or cook with the tap water. Some drinking water is provided, but you must be prepared to bring some. Fully equipped kitchen for cooking. Activities depend on the season: May to October - hiking, bonfires, lake access with rowing boat, kayaks, SUP, fishing (rods provided). Picnic area by the boathouse. November to April - snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, spotting Northern Lights, ice fishing (equipment provided) You will get free instruction in the use of all equipment depending on our needs. Getting there: By car from Tromsø, Finnsnes or Bardufoss. We are 1h40m drive from Tromso or 45 min from Bardufoss, 1 hour from Finnsnes. You can park outside the cabin from Easter to October. In winter, you park by the main road and hike /snowshoe or ski for about 30 -40 min. The road is cleared from the weekend before Easter. Guest access You have exclusive use of the entire cabin Bedroom 1: Double bed 2nd bedroom: Family bed: Double bed with bunk bed for children Bedroom 3: Double floor mattress in a small loft/mezzanine accessible by ladder. In summer you can drive all the way to the cabin. In winter you park by the road, and it is 2 km to go skiing or snowshoeing. We can meet you and show you the way to the cabin, and lend you snowshoes/skis if needed. Other things to note Important summary: - Driveable road into the cottage April to end October, or when the snow arrives. - In winter, you park 2 km away, along the road, and enter skiing or snowshoeing. It takes about 30-40 minutes to walk in. - Backpack is required to carry luggage, water and provisions in in winter. - Skis or snowshoes are needed to get inside in the winter. Bring your own snowshoes or loans with us. (Picked up/delivered at our place in Tromsø) - It can get -27 degrees Celsius in the winter. Check weather forecast for "outer Fiskelausvatnet " in Troms county. Wool underwear and clothing for arctic conditions are a prerequisite. - Do not use candles inside the cabin due to fire hazards (We have LED lights and battery) - Clean up and repair the cabin after use. Used bed linen and towels can be put in the closed garbage bag in the outhouse. The cleaning fee is low so it assumes that you wash after yourselves, vacuum and leave the bed clean. You do not pay extra for the use of bed sets and towels. - It is allowed to bring a dog, but vacuum well after you, also the furniture if you have left the dog on the sofa. - The cabin is not suitable for pets other than a dog. - Nearest bus stops at Storsteinnes. - There are sledges, 2 pairs of snowshoes, fishing equipment, equipment for ice fishing, equipment for barbecue, 1 day dining deck, seating mat, and hammock available at the cabin. In the boathouse there are SUP boards, life jackets and kayaker that guests can use.
