"Ye Old Shop"

"Ye Old Shop" 17th/19th century (Needham Cottage) has a cosy, quirky character, a simple charm or two. Stone single dwelling that used to be the village shop. Log burner in a spacious lounge - a small equipped gallery kitchen - Secret garden with views of River castle with rustic garden room. Ideally located for exploring the Peak District National Park - beautiful Derbyshire Dales. Pub 0.7 miles. Matlock 2.5 miles away with pubs, supermarket, restaurants, cafes etc. Sorry no pets or children. The space The cottage will be at your complete disposal (please see photos) Compact but fully working kitchen with all necessary utensils. If the weather is bad you could build a log fire and do some baking... There is a spacious bed with ensuite bathroom with large walk in shower. Included in the price is bedding, linen and towels, tea, coffee and sugar. First fire is made up and a free basket of logs for your use. More logs available for £5 a bag. Parking is on the road outside the cottage or just down the hill in the village square. Number 3 used to be the old shop built in the 19th century but some parts date back to the 17th century. There is a secret garden with a rustic summerhouse - peaceful and beautiful views. Guest access There is access secret garden follow the path and signs. There is a small outside patio area at the front of the cottage. Other things to note Sorry, no pets or children.
