Foxglove Cottage- near Downtown Kellogg

Foxglove Cottage was built in 1904 during the mining days of Silver Valley, and has recently been renovated to provide modern comforts. This cozy getaway is situated just a few blocks from downtown Kellogg and one mile (five minute drive) from Silver Mountain Ski Resort. With vintage touches that echo both the cottage’s past and the area, it possesses a quirky character that is sure to bring something extra to the memories you make here The space The Downstairs includes: -A living room for relaxing -A kitchen with coffee maker, microwave, oven, refrigerator with ice maker, gas stove top, dishes, utensils, pots/pans, and baking pans. We also provide complimentary tea, coffee, and hot chocolate and a welcome basket of treats. Note : there is no dishwasher. -A bathroom with shower -A washroom with washer and dryer for your use -"The 1904 Room," equipped with a queen size bed, chest of drawers and closet -The “Bunkhouse,” with (you guessed it) a bunk bed, shelves and a chair for relaxing The upstairs suite has a full size bed, a living area with TV (with DVD player, and enabled for streaming with your own accounts), desk, and a bathroom. There is a DVD library of fun classic TV shows, as well as board games that are available for your enjoyment. The large bathroom area has a large closet and chest of drawers to store away your personal items as desired, and the large tub with jet is perfect for relaxing after a day of skiing, biking or exploring the area. We offer 2 roll away/portable beds which can be placed in whichever bedroom or area you wish, for extra guests. Please let us know if you want these to use so we can have them ready. Wrapped around the front of the cottage is a covered porch, which makes the ideal spot for enjoying a quiet morning with a cup of coffee. There is a yard and parking both in the back and on the street in front of the house. We have central heating, but no central ac. For the hotter summer months we have a window air-conditioning unit for the upstairs, and window fans. It rarely gets hot enough to need it but we do offer it for the hot spells we might have. During the winter months please be aware when parking on the street in front of the house as snow plows will be coming through.
