Mulberry Cottage sits in the heart of 'Glen Donald Estate' a 640-acre farm (Bumbaldry, near Cowra) that specialises in the production of Australian Extra Virgin Olive oil. Enjoy the opportunity to relax, unwind and explore the surrounding acres, olive grove, lake or take in the mesmerising night sky. The cottage is a true combination of elegant country charms with mod cons. Pets are welcome. We just ask dogs are kept on leash outside as we have livestock. The space As you meander through the stunning landscapes of Central West NSW, and observe the vineyards and fields of gold, you will find Mulberry Cottage located 25 minutes from Cowra and 35 minutes from Grenfell. Our lovingly restored cottage allows guests to be immersed in the beauty and charm of country life. Mulberry Cottage is ideal for those looking for a peaceful escape, an adventure or a remote office with a great view. There are vast opportunities to experience the tree covered acres or take in the constellations. You can also partake in the many activities offered at Glen Doanld Estate to experience farm life such olive picking (season dependent) and tasting, touring the farm or meeting our furry friends. You can also pre-order freshly made scones on arrival, a ploughman's platter for a light lunch or a wood fire pizza dinner. About the cottage: There is 1 bedroom that offers a queen size bed, also available are two single roll-out beds, which can be placed in the bedroom or lounge area. The bathroom has a large, frosted window that filters in natural light and a heating lamp to keep you warm on those winter nights. For extra comfort we have provided soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and hairdryer. The dining room is framed by large windows that overlook the rolling paddocks. It includes a large round table with seating for 4. The fireplace and 43-inch Smart TV can be viewed whilst enjoying your meal. The kitchen contains all those cooking needs an oven, stove, microwave, cutlery, crockery, cooking utensils, pots, pans, fridge, and dishwasher. Just outside is a fully enclosed vegetable garden (seasonal) for you to use whilst staying in the cottage. For your entertainment, you will find various board games and books throughout the cottage. You can enjoy these from our living area nook, which offers two armchairs and large coffee table to lay out those board games or cheese platter. The lounge room is centred around the fireplace and TV, both of which you can be enjoyed from a 3-seater lounge. There are also numerous side tables that can be used inside or on the verandah. Guest access As Mulberry Cottage is in the centre of a working farm, which allows you to see all that happens as a part of farm life, however we request you do not adventure with your vehicle off the gravelled road. Also, as livestock can be present in the paddock, please ensure you leave the gates as you found them. You can walk through the fenced paddock that the cottage is in, but in doing so remember this is a rural setting and Australian wildlife roam freely, so stay on roads and paths at all times, so you can see what is under your feet.
