Sedona's A-Frame Open Heart Oasis
Description
Sedona's A-Frame Open Heart Oasis- "Nestled among the red rocks, this property looked like it came straight out of a magazine. The house was beautiful inside and out, with a perfect blend of modern luxury and rustic charm. The living area had huge windows showcasing the breathtaking views. Located close to Sedona’s main attractions, it was easy to explore hiking trails, art galleries, and restaurants. Highly recommended!" - Yueling '24 The space "This is the best Airbnb in Sedona. The views are incredible. I love the vintage vibe. It is literally minutes from the best restaurants (4 min from Mariposa, 1 minute from Creekside) but feels a world apart. The directions to the swimming hole are priceless. Probably the most beautiful spot I’ve seen in Sedona." Erin '24 Welcome to Sedona’s A-Frame Open Heart Oasis—where vintage charm, natural beauty, and a touch of modern comfort come together for an unforgettable stay. This classic 1960s A-frame cabin is designed for relaxation, with a laid-back, lounge-worthy vibe that blends retro flair with thoughtful updates. Towering 40-foot glass windows showcase breathtaking sunrises, sunsets, and the glowing Crystal Mountains, named for the way they catch the evening light. Whether you're sipping coffee in the morning or unwinding with a cocktail at sunset, you'll have a front-row seat to Sedona’s stunning landscape. Step outside, and you’re just moments from the trailhead to the famous Airport Vortex, one of Sedona’s most powerful energy spots. For a true hidden gem, take an eight-minute walk to a secluded swimming hole, a locals-only favorite (and yes, we’ll share the directions to help you find it!). Our Sedona A-Frame comfortably sleeps 6 guests in the main sleeping areas, with additional accommodations for up to 2 more guests in the cozy full size loft bed. The loft is accessed by a ladder, making it a fun and unique space that's best suited for older children, teens, or agile adults. In total, the home can accommodate up to 8 guests while providing a comfortable and memorable stay. A Few Quirks That Add to the Charm Our vintage cabin offers a unique experience with some old-school touches: While modern amenities are included, there’s no dishwasher or laundry on-site—dishes are done the old-fashioned way. Like many homes of its era, the septic system is delicate, so we provide a simple guide to ensure everything runs smoothly. A guest welcome book with our favorite restaurants, hikes, and must-visit spots will help you make the most of your Sedona adventure. A Cozy Outdoor Escape The spacious patio is perfect for stargazing, morning coffee, or rolling out your yoga mat to soak in the fresh desert air. Keep an eye out for local wildlife—deer, javelinas, and even the occasional bobcat often pass through, making their way to Oak Creek. Experience the magic of Sedona from a home that’s as unique and soulful as its surroundings. Your adventure awaits! Please note that the property is equipped with an evaporative cooler, which works very well in Sedona’s climate. However, when outside temperatures rise above 90°F or during periods of high humidity in the monsoon season, the cooler’s effectiveness can be reduced and the home may feel warmer than with traditional air conditioning. Early check-in requests are evaluated on a case-by-case basis, subject to the property’s availability and the cleaning crew’s schedule. If approved, an additional fee of $25 per hour will apply. Fee to be paid in full prior to check in. Sedona STR license # 032536 Other things to note Please follow the link for our touch stay guest guide book to make sure you understand the best way to enjoy our home. Our home is equipped with an evaporative cooler (also known as a swamp cooler), which is commonly used in dry desert climates like Sedona. It works by pulling in fresh air and cooling it with moisture, offering a natural and energy-efficient way to stay comfortable. Important things to know: • It works best when windows or doors are slightly open to allow air to circulate. • It may not be as effective during periods of high humidity or extreme heat. • We recommend running it early in the day and evening for the best cooling performance. If you’re unfamiliar with this type of system or have any concerns during your stay, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re happy to assist with usage tips or troubleshooting to ensure you’re comfortable. In addition to the evaporative cooler we also have three portable air-conditioning units installed in each of the bedrooms and fans available in all bedrooms.
