Relax in a newly renovated one bedroom oasis with all the modern amenities. This one-bedroom home is located just off the original path of the Oregon Trail on Whitehead Street - one of the oldest streets in North Boise. Enjoy the neighboring historic homes and walk across Hill Road to morning coffee at Poppyseed Bakery, or down the street to Sockeye Brewery for lunch and minigolf, or one block down Hill Road to the beautiful Edwards Greenhouse. Foothills trailhead is 400 yards away! The space The space is small and modern, with a new kitchen with granite countertops, a gas range, microwave and full size fridge/freezer. Premium coffee service with options for brewing machine, pour over, french press or Bialetti. The large bedroom features a queen size bed with memory foam mattress and all cotton bedding, a desk and a chaise lounge chair. There are two smart TV’s with Netflix and YouTube, plus local channels. The bedroom is very dark at night and has a ceiling fan and a portable fan. In the master bathroom there are bath salts for soaking in the oversized tub with shower and mirrored niche. The toilet features a hot water bidet. Relax on the tree shaded patio where you’ll find patio furniture and a propane bbq for grilling. There’s also a washer and dryer on site for your use. Guest access This house sits on 3/4 of an acre and has been divided into two residences. The owner lives in the other residence and uses the garage, which is not available to guests. (There is no garage parking) Please park in the driveway in front of the three car garage when you arrive. The front door to the house is next to the garage. Once you enter the foyer, you will see the keyless entry on the interior front door. The backyard is fenced for pets. Other things to note The house is divided, and the Airbnb unit shares the backyard with the other half of the house. Its a big yard, and the patio area is private. We now have a big dog living next door, and I am no longer a "pet friendly" house, as the big dog may not play well with other dogs, and we don't want the possibility of anything happening to a guest's pet.
