Forest Cottage by the water

This Round Cottage, made from rocks and mud in a lush forest, stays cool on hot days. Surrounded by monkeys and bird life, with nature walks starting from the porch. A large pond in front offers amazing birdlife, and there's only one house in sight. Safe parking is available 50 meters away. Perfect for up to two adults and pet-friendly. Features a firewood stove, hot water facilities, and an ecological dry toilet. Less than 10 minutes from Arusha-Moshi road and 30 minutes from the KIA airport. The space The open-plan cottage features a built-in kitchen for light cooking on a single gas stove, a refrigerator, and basic utensils. Large sliding glass doors open to the wide porch, offering seamless indoor-outdoor living. A retractable fire pit is the room's centerpiece, providing a cozy touch that can be stowed away. Enjoy forest and dam views from indoors, kitchen counter, or from the sitting arrangements both inside and outside. The cottage also includes a dedicated workspace and clothes-hanging facilities. An indoor composting dry toilet and an outdoor wood stove for hot water (guests can make their own fire or ask for help with this) add to the charm. French drains carry wastewater into nature, so please consider the concentration and toxicity of your toiletries Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage and its immediate facilities. The private house above it, and the A-frame above the main house, are not accessible (please use the separate path to access laundry services, composting area and parking in the top part of the property). Guests can walk to Ngare Sero Mountain Lodge using a separate path past the fish farm, which is adjacent to the forest cottage. Please note: use of the lodge facilities (swimming pool, bar, restaurant, gondola, horseback riding) must be arranged separately with lodge management.
