Forget your worries in this spacious and serene space. We are located in a peaceful rural countryside setting central yet we are only 10 mins (by car) from Limerick city, Castletroy, Castleconnell, University of Limerick. Our apartment is best described as: -1 bedroomed with 2 double beds -1 bathroom -1 kitchen/sitting room with large fold down couch / bed -All mod cons available. -A 4th (single) bed can be also provided on request. Please read the section 'other details to note' The space Very spacious room with large private bathroom. This is a home away from home. It is an independent apartment to the side of a detached home. It has its own entrance. We would be delighted to meet you but will only meet at your front door if you need us. Room 1 has 2 double beds and a study desk and wardrobe for storage. The entrance room contains the kitchen, TV and couch which converts to a double bed. With a bit of a squeeze we can also provide a 4th bed in the living room / kitchen (on request only). The TV has the standard Irish TV channels and an Amazon firestick is also provided for access to a range of movie, sports and TV channels through various apps. Use the source button on the TV control to switch between TV station and firestick apps. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire apartment. Other things to note Check-in time is usually after 2pm and check-out time is 11 am. Please confirm estimated arrival times in advance if possible so that we can have everything in place and just right. At Dromane Lodge we really understand the stresses and complexity of travelling. If you need to have anything in place before you arrive just send us a note. That could be bacon butties for breakfast bought in for your trip, day to day shopping items from the local store, local reservations, chilled champagne in the fridge, freshly made ice cubes, a hot water bottle in the bed … the list goes on. Just ask - the worst that will happen is that we can’t make it happen. But we usually do! There may be a small service charge and a purchase cost, depending on the request. We have a ‘trust box’ system in place where guests have access to water, juices, soft drinks, alcohol, snacks, confectionery, treats, cereals etc. Full price list provided and guests can pay via Revolut, bank transfer or through the Airbnb app. Tea, coffee etc is provided free of charge. For travellers that need clothes washed and dried please enquire. Although there are no washing or drying machines in the apartment this can be accommodated next door. Iron and ironing board available on request. We also have the following available for rental on a day rate: - Bicycles (includes helmet & hi-viz gear) - Inflatable Kayaks (amazing places nearby for kayaking). Fits in the trunk of the car and assembles easily in under 10 minutes. - Tents and an extensive range of camping gear. Why not use our space as a base and go to a wide range of camping grounds around the neighbouring counties! - Our 5 berth caravan can be brought on-site for additional guests that may be travelling with you or coming to meet you! - Fishing rods and tackle. The nearest river in Castleconnell is only 3 minutes away. Fresh salmon tagliatelle has a nice ring to it! - Binoculars are available for wildlife enthusiasts. - Telescope. Pass the time gazing at the cosmos and studying the moon close up on a clear 'starry starry night' 🌙 Please enquire on any of the above ahead of your trip. Getting a little break is important for you too so for younger travelers we have available in the garden (no charge obviously): - Double swing set - Trampoline - Basketball net and ball - Football goals and football - Badminton set with net - Also a range of toys, games & Lego which are stored in the living area. Just let us know in advance so that we can have everything out & ready in advance for the kids. Adult supervision for younger kids is required.
