Bijou farmhouse from 1611

This special house represents an absolutely unique combination of top modern standards infused with the flair from 1611. Inherited from the family, it was thouroughly renovated in 2022, with lots of love for details, which you will discover during your stay. The stone walls, the wood, the stove carry 400 years history. It is ideal for families and groups to explore Flims-Laax-Falera region. Located in the center of Falera with 3 minutes walking distance to the skilift. The space We have renovated this house in 2021/22, as the vacation house for our family. It has all modern amenities. But at the same time you will discover old elements, such as thick stone walls, old wooden beams, and you will be able to enjoy the heat from the soapstone stove. On the ground floor, there is a spacious entry area, with the garderobe, wardrobe (repurposed 200 year old cheese cabinet), there you will also find a TV room with a bed-sofa as well as the first bathroom. Moving one level up, you will find yourself in the modern kitchen and adjacent bar area. Here is also the cozy living room with completely authentic wooden wall panels, beams, floor. The top floor consists of the Master bed-room with the free standing bath tub, from where you can enjoy stunning mountain views. Additional guest room with a double box-spring bed, and one more bedroom with a bunk bed and working space. Second bathroom is also located here. Guest access The full house is available to the guests. Some wardrobes may contain private clothes, which will be locked and will thus not be available. Other things to note There is only one parking space in front of the house. Further cars would need to be parked at the parking area at the entrance to the village. House rules will be made available to guests prior arrival.
